The ZoomInfo free trial: usually 7 days, without a card
ZoomInfo says it “typically” offers a 7-day free trial. You sign up with a work email that ZoomInfo verifies, no card is asked for, and the trial stops on its own at the end rather than turning into a paid plan.
“Typically” matters: the trial page says the length can change with promotions, the size of your company, the sales rep and the plan you look at. The page also says the trial comes “with usage limits”, while the pricing FAQ says it usually includes unlimited searches and views. It covers contacts and companies, signals and email outreach.
Two free doors stay open after it. ZoomInfo Lite is free for good for people who are not customers (what it gives), and GTM.AI gives 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits once, without a card. Emelia’s trial also lasts 7 days without a card, and Start then comes with 500 credits given once.
Cost per contact: ZoomInfo against Apollo
With no subscription price, ZoomInfo’s cost per contact inside its app cannot be calculated from outside. What can be compared is GTM.AI: $0.45 a record for a small purchase, $0.41 at 1,000 records, down to $0.25 from 86,207.
Apollo sells credits inside a licence: Basic costs $65 per licence a month with 2,500 credits, about $0.026 a credit. An email found takes 1 credit and a phone number 8, so roughly $0.026 for an email and $0.23 for both; extra credits cost $0.025 down to $0.015. At the margin, Apollo’s contact is cheaper than GTM.AI’s, but it comes with a licence per user, while GTM.AI has no licence at all.
A GTM.AI record is not just an email: it carries the direct line, job title, seniority and LinkedIn URL your entitlements cover, without mobile numbers outside the Enterprise offer. Our Apollo vs ZoomInfo comparison goes through the two databases feature by feature; Emelia, for reference, charges 1 credit per email found, $0.019 an email in its smallest pack.
GTM.AI, the only price ZoomInfo publishes (API pricing)
GTM.AI is ZoomInfo’s “headless” access: an API, an MCP server for AI assistants and a command line, with “no contract, no seat fees”. You buy data credits from $20, with no sales call, and 1 data credit = 1 company, contact or intent record enriched or exported. Searching, lookups and “find similar” are free.
The price of a credit falls with the quantity bought at once, from $0.45 to $0.25; the tier applies to the whole purchase, so buying just past a threshold can cost less than buying just below it. AI credits, used by research and agent actions, cost a flat $0.05; an action takes about 1 to 20 of them, 5 to 15 most of the time according to the docs.
New accounts get 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits once, with no card, and a limited offer takes 70% off the first purchase. Beyond 100,000 credits, and for mobile numbers, SSO or support with an SLA, you move to the Enterprise offer, on quote. On records already enriched the page disagrees with itself: its tagline promises records “charged once per record per year” and the docs apply that rule without condition, while its FAQ calls it an Enterprise benefit that does not apply to the free tier.
How the GTM.AI grid moved in 2026
On June 4, 2026 the page gave 100 data credits and 500 AI credits, with packs from $100. On August 4, 2026, top-ups started at $20 and a launch offer sold the first 5,000 credits at $0.10 instead of $0.35. The current grid, from $0.45 to $0.25, was in place on October 16, 2026.

What goes into a ZoomInfo quote
ZoomInfo’s pricing page shows 6 cards, for sales and for marketing, with no amount: only “Start free trial” and “Get a demo” buttons and a “Get Pricing” form. The pricing FAQ lists what moves the quote: the features, the number of licences, and credit usage. The same FAQ says both that all credits work the same way and that their cost depends on the depth of data you export.

Seats, minimums and add-ons: what the quote does not show
Seats or not. The pricing FAQ answers “Yes, ZoomInfo uses a seat-based pricing model”, and ZoomInfo’s blog mentions “a minimum number of seats” without a figure; the home page says ZoomInfo does not charge by fixed seat tiers and that teams pay for the credits they use. The licence terms count authorised users either way. The FAQ adds that ZoomInfo is “NOT enterprise-only” and that its price does not start at $15,000, without giving another figure.
Add-ons, all without a public price: Streaming Intent, Engage, Data Passport, Chorus, Workflows and FormComplete, extra seats, and enterprise API and MCP access. International data is sold through the Data Passport (Europe and Global); integrations can carry an installation fee and a minimum purchase of bulk credits.
Buying more in the middle of a contract. Customers can add seats and credits by card from the admin portal, up to $25,000 per transaction and $50,000 a day, seats prorated to the end of the term; those prices are not published either.
The ZoomInfo contract: 1 to 3 years, not cancellable, $2 per shared record
ZoomInfo’s licence terms (version of May 1, 2025) say the agreement “is not cancellable” for its term, which the order form sets. The annual report puts subscriptions at 1 to 3 years, with 53% of contract value on multi-year deals, billed in advance yearly, half-yearly or quarterly; ZoomInfo’s blog says there is no standard monthly billing.
Renewal
The current terms leave renewal and notice to the order form. The versions of January 1, 2023 and March 6, 2024, still online on zoominfo.com, renewed the contract automatically unless you gave notice 60 days before the end, for the initial term or a year, at 10% above the annualised price. Customers who signed under those versions may still have that clause; ZoomInfo’s blog advises checking the notice period and negotiating a renewal price cap.
Refunds, breaches and shared data
- A pro rata refund only if ZoomInfo fails: a breach not fixed within 21 days, availability under 99.9% twice in 3 months, or more than 5% of contacts out of date and not corrected within 30 days.
- If ZoomInfo ends the contract for a customer’s breach, the rest of the term becomes due at once. A late payment can suspend access without changing the term or the amount owed.
- Invoices are due within 30 days, with 1.5% interest a month on late payments, taxes extra; ZoomInfo’s payments page lists card, ACH, wire, EFT or cheque.
- Shared logins are billed as extra seats until the end of the term; records passed to an unauthorised third party cost $2.00 per record and per recipient in liquidated damages.
- An amendment notified on February 27, 2026 lets ZoomInfo reuse the data you send it through integrations (your CRM, for example) under a perpetual licence, with a setting to control it.
- Customers in the UK, Switzerland or the EEA sign their contract with ZoomInfo UK Ltd..
Emails found through GTM.AI or Emelia, at the same volume
Here is the one comparison a price list allows: the same number of work emails found each month, bought from GTM.AI or from Emelia. A GTM.AI credit returns a whole record (email, direct line, job title…), an Emelia credit an email found and verified, nothing when none is found. GTM.AI is priced at the cheapest purchase that covers the month (sometimes a little more than needed, when the next tier is cheaper overall); Emelia at the smallest monthly credit pack that covers the emails, bought without any plan, as its credits are sold on their own. Emelia costs less at every volume up to 100,000 emails a month: a GTM.AI purchase starts at $20, already above the price of Emelia’s smallest pack. From 1,000 emails, Emelia costs 12 to 50 times less per email on these lines.

Monthly need, GTM.AI in US dollars (its only currency) and Emelia in your currency, at the same figure in euros or dollars. The volumes sit on Emelia’s pack thresholds and just above them, so the lines do not favour Emelia. GTM.AI’s 1,000 free credits, and the credits Emelia gives once with a plan, are left out.

- 5,000 GTM.AI credits at $0.38 · $1,900
- 5,000-credit pack · $49
Email and phone together: GTM.AI records against Emelia credits
For a phone number, GTM.AI charges 1 credit for the whole record, phone line included when it exists (no mobile numbers outside Enterprise); Emelia charges 1 credit for the email and 50 for the number, only when each is found, and looks for the number through a waterfall across several providers, refunding the credits when none is found. Above 1,960 contacts, Emelia’s largest monthly pack no longer covers the month.

Monthly, GTM.AI in US dollars and Emelia in your currency; Emelia at the smallest credit pack that covers 51 credits per contact, with no plan. Emelia’s real cost is often lower, since a number that is not found costs nothing; the type of number differs too (direct lines, no mobiles, on GTM.AI self-serve).
Put your own monthly volume through GTM.AI and Emelia
Choose how many work emails you need each month. The calculator buys the cheapest GTM.AI quantity that covers them and, on Emelia’s side, the smallest monthly credit pack, with no plan added.
You save $391 per month with Emelia.
How each tool charges
GTM.AI sells data credits one by one, $0.45 each for a small purchase and down to $0.25 from 86,207, the tier applying to the whole quantity; 1 credit = 1 record. The calculator counts one purchase per month, at the price of that quantity.
Emelia charges 1 credit per email found, nothing when none is found, and 0.25 credit per verified address. Its credits are sold on their own, as a subscription with no sending plan: from $19 a month for 1,000 credits, valid for 12 months. To send your campaigns as well, Start ($37) adds 3 mailboxes and 1 LinkedIn account.
Buying several months at once lowers GTM.AI’s price per credit; its 1,000 free credits and the 70% off a first purchase are left out, as are the credits Emelia adds once to a plan. The ZoomInfo app, on quote, is not part of this calculation.
Credits that expire: monthly ones at the end of the month, bulk ones at the end of the contract
Inside the ZoomInfo platform, credits come in three kinds (Monthly Credits, Bulk Credits and AI Action Credits). Monthly credits are given per user on some plans and reset on day 1 of each month at midnight Pacific time, with no rollover and no transfer between users. Bulk credits are a pool for the whole organisation, used by enrichment, workflows, the API and form tools, and they expire when the contract ends. A record exported again within 12 months is free, counted per user for manual exports.
Viewing a contact’s email or phone number on screen uses a “view”, from a monthly quota per user whose size is not published; ZoomInfo Lite credits do not roll over either. On GTM.AI, the same pricing page says both that credits never expire while the account is active and that they expire 12 months after they are granted. Emelia’s monthly pack credits stay valid 12 months after purchase.
ZoomInfo pricing: more questions
Not as a standard option: ZoomInfo’s blog says paid plans are billed annually, with no standard monthly billing, and the annual report describes payment in advance by year, half-year or quarter. GTM.AI is the exception: credits are bought when you need them, from $20, with no subscription.
Yes, with no time limit and no card, for people who are not ZoomInfo customers and who sign up with a work email. It comes with a handful of credits (10 at sign-up according to the help centre), no mobile numbers, and terms that link access to the mailbox you connect, which its FAQ calls optional; the details are on our ZoomInfo page.
Because ZoomInfo publishes none, and the figures that circulate come from third parties. ZoomInfo itself says that third-party figures (a yearly starting price, “Professional / Advanced / Elite” tiers, an API starting price) are estimates or out of date, which is why we do not repeat them. Ask for a written quote, with the term, the renewal clause and the credits included.

Emelia is a ZoomInfo competitor. We have tried to stay fair: every figure about ZoomInfo comes from its own website or public review sites.
