Yearly only: where Folderly’s monthly price went
Anyone looking for a Folderly price per month will not find one on folderly.com today. The pricing block shows one tab, “Yearly · Save20%”, and the address folderly.com/pricing now redirects to the products page.
That was not always so. Until October 2025, archived copies of the products page showed a “Monthly” tab at $120 per mailbox next to the yearly $96; by November 2025, only the yearly tab was left. The “Save up to…” badges still displayed under each rate are worked out against that former monthly price.
Some of Folderly’s own blog posts, updated as late as September 2026, still mention “$200/month per mailbox”. Those figures match no grid on the site; the rates below are the ones Folderly publishes, and the ones we use.
$96, $72 or $56: the per-inbox rate and the inbox count behind it
Folderly prices each mailbox by the month and bills the year. The grid works in bands of mailboxes: the band your account reaches sets the rate for every mailbox in it.
1 to 9 mailboxes
$96/mailbox a month
billed yearly
- $96 to $864 a month for the band
- $1,152 to $10,368 over the year
10 to 24 mailboxes
$72/mailbox a month
billed yearly
- $720 to $1,728 a month for the band
- $8,640 to $20,736 over the year
25 to 99 mailboxes
$56/mailbox a month
billed yearly
- $1,400 to $5,544 a month for the band
- $16,800 to $66,528 over the year
100+ mailboxes
Custom
on request
- No published rate
- Quote after a demo
Two footnotes sit under the grid: a minimum commitment applies, and “special pricing” is available to new accounts. Folderly states neither the length of the commitment nor the amount of the discount. Every button on the grid leads to a demo request; extra mailboxes are added later as seats in the app.

Inside the per-inbox price: upkeep, Folderly Score, a named specialist
All mailboxes get the same features, whatever the band: the rate changes, the product does not.
- Daily upkeep of each connected mailbox, run from the template you really send, with a Folderly Score out of 100 for each mailbox and each domain.
- Spam triggers detected in Gmail and Outlook, content and technical alike, with best practices and a task list to work through.
- Placement reports and an automated test: choose a mailbox and a template, and see where the email lands across the main providers.
- IP insights and domain health: the type, sender score and blacklist status of your sending IPs, plus step-by-step guides for DNS issues.
- A named deliverability specialist on the account, who works through the causes in order of priority.
- Members with Admin, Editor or Viewer roles; Folderly does not publish how many users an account can have.
- Not included: the deliverability audit, the email validation service and consulting, sold alongside the platform without a published price.
More placement tests: Inbox Insights at $79 a month
Beyond the automated test included in the platform, more placement tests have their own product, Inbox Insights, and their own price. Every account gets 2 tests a month for free; the quota belongs to the account, not to each mailbox, and a recurring test uses one test for every mailbox it covers. Pulse, the placement monitor with alerts, stays free and does not need a Folderly subscription.
Archived copies from 2025 show the first paid tier of Inbox Insights with unlimited tests, at the same monthly price. Today’s tiers are sold by the month or by the year, with 15% off the latter, and a quote from 5,000 tests:
- 100 tests: $79 a month, or $799 a year
- 250 tests: $120 a month, or $1,220 a year
- 500 tests: $160 a month, or $1,630 a year
- 1,000 tests: $200 a month, or $2,030 a year
- 2,500 tests: $220 a month, or $2,245 a year
A month of Folderly against a month of Emelia, inbox for inbox
Each row prices the same mailboxes for one month, starting from Emelia’s plans: Start for up to 3 mailboxes, Grow for up to 50, Scale beyond, with every connected mailbox warmed. Folderly’s month is its yearly rate, paid upfront for the whole year; Emelia’s is billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime. From 100 mailboxes, Folderly only quotes after a demo, so the last row has no figure on its side. Folderly is in US dollars; Emelia keeps the same figures in your currency.

Demo, trial on request and the minimum term
- A demo first. The grid, the overview and the products page all lead to “Request a demo”; nothing can be bought online from them.
- A trial you ask for. Tool pages such as the spam words checker and the how-to guides still offer to request 7 days of access to every feature, and a recent post on Folderly’s blog advises asking whether a trial is available. Folderly does not say whether a card is needed.
- A minimum term set in your proposal. The grid only says a minimum commitment applies; the length and the conditions of the first period are written into the commercial proposal you sign.
- Renewal and cancelling. Subscriptions renew automatically. The help centre shows a “Cancel Subscription” button under Settings, Billing, while the terms ask for at least 1 month’s written notice before the next period.
- No refunds. Fees already paid are not refunded, a move to a smaller plan included.
- How you pay. By card online, or by bank transfer on an invoice due within 14 days; amounts exclude taxes. The terms make fees payable in advance, by the month unless the price description says otherwise, and the grid only offers “Yearly”: the year is paid upfront.
Folderly’s bill: the questions that come up
Folderly shows “Custom price” from 100 mailboxes and gives the figure after a demo. From 25 to 99 mailboxes, the published rate is $56 per mailbox a month, billed yearly. On Emelia, Scale connects unlimited mailboxes within a fair use of 1,000, for $297 a month, with no commitment.
The tools around it: 2 Inbox Insights placement tests a month, Pulse monitoring and alerts, the spam words checker, Folderly Flash (3 tests a day per IP address) and the SPF and DMARC generators. The Folderly product itself, with its daily upkeep, has no free plan.
The grid says “special pricing” is available for new account registrations, without an amount or a duration. Folderly’s terms limit such discounts to the first contract period. The amount is only given in a demo; our tables use the published rates.
No. Folderly looks after the mailboxes and reports on them; the emails to your prospects go out from your own sending tool, paid separately. With Emelia, the same plan warms the mailboxes and sends the sequences, from $37 a month, billed monthly.

Emelia is a Folderly competitor. We have tried to stay fair: every figure about Folderly comes from its own website or public review sites.
