One user, one to ten mailboxes: how a Mailshake seat sets the bill
Mailshake’s FAQ puts it plainly: billing is paid by the team and “based on how many users you purchase”. A user is less a person than a set of mailboxes, and a team of one can buy several users just to connect more addresses. Prices per user and per month, in US dollars.

The two figures for Sales Engagement come from Mailshake itself; the comparisons on this page count 5, the one that costs Mailshake more, and show the other. Whether Starter’s 1,500 sends apply to each user or to the whole team, Mailshake does not say. The credits on the plan cards have no stated period: on the archived copy of May 18, 2024 the pricing page called Sales Engagement’s “monthly”; today it only says “free”.

Data Finder and ready-made mailboxes: the two paid extras
Data Finder: $19 a month for credits it calls unlimited
Data Finder is a database of 100+ million prospects, searched by job title, company, industry and location. As an add-on it costs $19 a month, or $17 a month on yearly billing, and the pricing page promises “Unlimited credits”; no usage cap is published. It can also be bought without any sending plan, and a trial gives 50 credits once. Each prospect you select uses 1 credit; from the browser extension, credits only go on emails actually found.
What you get back, according to the help centre: an email for every prospect, then name, job title, company, LinkedIn profile and industry when known. No phone number is listed, although the page about Juliet, Mailshake’s AI assistant still on a waiting list, mentions phone numbers. How long credits last, and what happens to them when you cancel, is not published.
Emelia sells credits on their own, without a sending plan: $19 a month for 1,000 credits, then $49 for 5,000 and $99 for 10,000, valid for a year after purchase, even once the subscription ends. An email found costs 1 credit and a phone number 50, refunded when none is found. At 1,000 emails a month, the two cost the same, $19 a month; beyond that, Data Finder costs less as long as its unlimited credits really have no ceiling.
Ready to Use Mailboxes: a domain and 5 mailboxes
Mailshake can buy the sending infrastructure for you: 1 domain and 5 mailboxes, with SPF, MX and DKIM set up and warm-up switched on, for $12 a month or $129 a year, sold in batches of 5. If one address runs into trouble, sending moves to another. Mailshake does not say whether these addresses count towards the mailboxes each user may connect.
Comparing Mailshake pricing with Emelia, mailbox for mailbox
Each row starts from an Emelia plan and the number of mailboxes it covers. On the Mailshake side, the cheapest whole number of users that connects them; with emails to find, the Data Finder add-on, and on Emelia’s side the smallest monthly credit pack that covers them. No LinkedIn rows: Mailshake’s pricing page no longer lists LinkedIn automation, only manual tasks.
Sending only, monthly prices

100 mailboxes
Mailboxes and emails found each month, billed monthly
3 mailboxes + 1,000 emails found
3 mailboxes + 5,000 emails found

Sales Engagement counted at 5 mailboxes per user (help centre). At 10 per account, as the pricing page says, 3 mailboxes cost $98, 50 cost $495 and 100 cost $990; with emails to find, the same reading puts 3 mailboxes and 5,000 emails at $117. Starter’s cap counted for the whole team, at 30 to 50 emails per mailbox a day over 22 working days; per user, 3 mailboxes would cost $87. The Agency Plan, with unlimited addresses, has no public price.
Mailshake cost calculator: users, mailboxes and Data Finder against Emelia
Enter your mailboxes, how many emails each sends a day and the emails you need found. The calculator buys whole Mailshake users on the cheapest plan that connects them (and accepts the month’s sends), adds Data Finder when you need emails found, and sets the Emelia plan that covers the same mailboxes against it.
You save $893 per month with Emelia ($10,716 per year).
How each tool charges
Mailshake bills per user: Starter $29 (1 mailbox, 1,500 sends a month), Email Outreach $49 (2 mailboxes), Sales Engagement $99 (5 mailboxes per its help centre, 10 per its pricing page). Data Finder adds $19 a month. US dollars only.
Emelia charges by plan, not per user: Start $37 (3 mailboxes, 1 LinkedIn), Grow $97 (50 mailboxes, 3 LinkedIn), Scale $297 (unlimited mailboxes, 10 LinkedIn), then $29 per extra LinkedIn account. Emails found are paid with monthly credit packs, from $19 for 1,000 credits; the credits given once at signup are not counted.
Emelia prices excluding tax; Mailshake does not say whether tax is added for European customers. Sales Engagement counted at 5 mailboxes per user, the other reading shown below the total. Starter’s 1,500 sends counted for the whole team. The free Data Finder credits of the plan cards, with no stated period, are not counted; neither are the Agency Plan (on quote) nor the cost of the mailboxes themselves (Google, Outlook), the same with both tools.

No free trial, payment up front, no refund
“Is there a free trial? No, we collect payment up front”: Mailshake’s pricing FAQ answers in those words, and offers onboarding and deliverability training instead. The only free allowance is 50 Data Finder credits, once. A free plan (250 sends a month) appeared on the pricing page in January 2025 and was gone by April 2025.
Refunds: none. The help centre says no refund or pro-rated refund is issued on cancellation, and the terms call every fee non-refundable. The blog still promises a 30-day guarantee, which left the pricing page itself by May 2023 and lingered in its description until July 2024. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings, effective at the end of the paid period; campaigns are deleted 30 days after the plan expires (another help article counts from the cancellation), and there is no pause. Upgrading is charged pro rata straight away; downgrading turns into a credit on later invoices.
Emelia gives 7 days without a card and 20 credits to an account opened with a work email, and its credits stay valid for a year after purchase, even after cancelling.
Mailshake on AppSumo, lifetime deals and coupon codes
No coupon code is published: the help centre only explains where to type one. Mailshake does not sell a lifetime deal on its site; its pricing article mentions customers still on old AppSumo plans, with their own seat limits.
The one standing discount is yearly billing, which takes about 14% off Starter, 8% off Email Outreach and 14% off Sales Engagement. Mailshake also runs an affiliate programme paying 40% recurring commission.
Mailshake prices since 2023: Starter added, LinkedIn automation delisted
In 2023, archived copies of the pricing page show two plans, Email Outreach at $58 and Sales Engagement at $83 per user a month billed annually, with list-cleaning credits (5,000 or 10,000 a month) and, until April 2023, a 30-day guarantee. In March 2024 came Starter at $29 ($25 yearly); by May 2024, Email Outreach stood at $59 and Sales Engagement at $99, with 5 mailboxes per user.
By January 2025, Email Outreach had dropped from $59 to $49 a month and Sales Engagement showed 10 addresses per account; the grid has not moved since. The latest change is not a price: “LinkedIn automation” left the Sales Engagement card of the pricing page between May 14, 2026 and June 11, 2026.
Older figures linger elsewhere. Mailshake’s blog still quotes $58 and $83, its AI email writer page says plans start at $59, and the help centre’s yearly examples ($299, $530 and $999 per user) differ slightly from a full year at the yearly prices ($300, $540 and $1,020).
Mailshake pricing questions
The pricing page shows no figure, only “Talk to Sales”, for everything in Sales Engagement with unlimited email addresses. A help article from October 2023 gave $59 per seat a month for Email Outreach and $99 for Sales Engagement, with a minimum of 5 seats; treat those as dated.
That is not stated by Mailshake. This page counts it for the whole team, so 3 mailboxes go to Email Outreach ($98 a month). If it applies to each user, 3 Starter users would do for $87; Emelia Start covers the same 3 mailboxes for $37.
Yes. The pricing page opens on its yearly prices: $25, $45 and $85 per user a month, paid for the year ($300, $540 and $1,020 per user). The billing date cannot be changed, and moving down a plan earns a credit, not a refund.
Each plan caps the mailboxes per user, so an extra address beyond that means buying another user; removing one offers to lower the number of seats. Mailboxes bought through Ready to Use Mailboxes come in batches of 5 with their domain.
