Send permission only: what Mailwarm asks of your inbox
Mailwarm needs one thing from the address it warms: the right to send from it. Each plan on its pricing page carries the line “No IMAP access required”, and the connection screens show what that means.
- Google and Google Workspace. “Sign in with Google” opens a consent screen with three items: your basic profile, your email address, and “Send email on your behalf”. Nothing on it lets Mailwarm read your messages.
- Microsoft 365 and Outlook. The screen asks for “Send mail as you”, your profile, and a permission that keeps the connection alive, which Microsoft says grants nothing more.
- Any other provider. “Connect any account” takes SMTP details: host, port, protocol, username, password, and an optional reply-to address. The form has no IMAP field at all.
Where the engagement happens
Your mailbox sends to Mailwarm’s own accounts, and the opens, the moves out of spam, the “important” flags and the replies happen there, on the receiving side. The replies reach you like any other email: Mailwarm suggests a filter on “mymailwarm” in the subject line to file them in a folder.
Mailboxes, and sending relays too
Because it only sends, the same SMTP route works for a relay as well as for a mailbox. Next to Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Yahoo and Zoho, Mailwarm names SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES and Postmark, and its SMTP warm-up page presents the send-only access as a fit for transactional relays and shared mailboxes. A separate page covers warming a dedicated IP over 30 days on SendGrid, Mailgun or Amazon SES.
Who owns Mailwarm: COMUSE SAS in its terms, Mailwarm Inc. for the brand
The Mailwarm terms, last updated in January 2026, name COMUSE SAS as the supplier (company number 849 350 780); the public business register dates that company to March 1, 2019. On June 9, 2025, a press release announced the acquisition of Mailwarm by mailX, calling it a new chapter for the brand.
Today the terms of mailX list mailX, Mailwarm and MailAdept as brands owned by Mailwarm Inc., and the Mailwarm blog presents all three as the work of one team. mailX is a free toolkit of DNS and deliverability checkers, with an API and an MCP server; MailAdept sells deliverability consulting by subscription.
Mailwarm went through Y Combinator in the S20 batch, has been running since 2020, and counts more than 10,000 teams among its users.
Calls with a deliverability expert, from one a month to on demand
Mailwarm’s home page puts its people first: “Deliverability experts included in every plan”. The number of calls grows with the batch.
Starter: 1 a month
One call a month with an expert, for 1 inbox and 1 user.
$79/monthGrowth: 4 a month
Calls spread over the month, for 3 inboxes and 2 users.
$189/monthScale: on demand
Calls booked when you need them, for 10 inboxes and 5 users.
$549/monthTailored: a dedicated expert
Beyond the public batches, an expert assigned to the account runs the deliverability strategy end to end.
On requestAn account manager and an audit
According to its own comparison page, every customer gets an account manager who helps set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, runs a deliverability audit and follows the results. Anyone can also book a free audit call, customer or not. A chat and an email address cover the rest.
Emelia’s plans against Mailwarm’s batches of inboxes
Each row starts from an Emelia plan, Start for 3 mailboxes or Grow for 50 mailboxes, and sets Mailwarm’s smallest public batch for the same inboxes beside it, billed monthly. Mailwarm bills in US dollars only; Emelia’s amounts follow your currency with the same figure.

Mailwarm in US dollars, Emelia in your currency: a tick in euros only where the gap holds at any exchange rate, and it does on every priced row. On Emelia’s side the same amount also sends your campaigns. Emelia has no free warm-up plan, by choice: only paying senders join its warm-up network, each within the mailbox limit of a plan.
Priced by batch: one, three or ten inboxes
Mailwarm’s price follows the batch rather than the inbox: Starter at $79 a month for 1 inbox, Growth at $189 a month for 3 inboxes and Scale at $549 a month for 10 inboxes, billed each month. Past 10 inboxes, the Tailored plan has no public price. Each batch also sets the users and a daily warm-up volume shared by its inboxes.

Mailwarm FAQ
A handful of customers have rated it on the software review sites. On G2, its profile showed between 7 and 15 reviews depending on the snapshot, rated 4.9 to 5.0 out of 5. Capterra lists 8 reviews at 4.9, with 5.0 for customer service, a score Mailwarm quotes on its own pages. Trustpilot has 2 reviews, for a TrustScore of 3.1. Figures read on October 28, 2026.
No. Mailwarm calls itself a standalone warm-up tool that works next to any sending software: you connect the same inbox to both, and it advises switching off the warm-up built into your sending tool. On Emelia, the warm-up runs inside the plan that sends your cold email and LinkedIn sequences, so one tool covers both jobs.
We found no public API for Mailwarm, and no CRM, Zapier or Make integration; its connections are the mailboxes themselves. The API and MCP server announced by the same team belong to mailX, the free diagnostic toolkit. Emelia’s API comes with every plan (up to 100 requests a minute on Start) and can switch the warm-up on or off and read each mailbox’s score.
Emelia first, which includes warm-up in the plan that sends your campaigns, like a few other sending platforms; then warm-up services that cost a fraction of Mailwarm per inbox, and others in its price range with more deliverability testing. Each has its entry price on our page of Mailwarm alternatives.
