Prospeo’s prices against Emelia’s in 30 seconds
- Per email
- 10,000 emails a month: $189 at Prospeo (Growth plus a 5,000-credit add-on), $99 at Emelia in one pack. Emelia’s packs cost less than Prospeo’s plans at 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 emails, whatever the exchange rate.
- Per user
- Every Prospeo plan is priced per user, with named seats that cannot be shared. Emelia’s packs have no per-user fee.
- Credits
- Prospeo resets credits at every renewal according to its pricing page, and add-on credits never roll over. Emelia’s stay valid 12 months, even after you cancel.
What a credit buys: an email for 1, a mobile for 10
Every Prospeo plan is a monthly allowance of credits, and every action draws on it at a fixed rate, charged only when a valid result comes back.
- A verified email: 1 credit, whether it comes from the database, the extension, a file, the API or a list export.
- A verified mobile: 10 credits with the email included, 9 if the email was revealed first.
- A company record: 1 credit; an API search page of 25 results without contact details: 1.
- Free: browsing and filtering the database, saving searches, and enriching the same person again within 90 days.
- What a credit costs, all credits used: $0.0245 on Starter, $0.0198 on Growth, $0.0166 on Pro, monthly; so a mobile comes to $0.166 to $0.245. The “$0.01 per email” of Prospeo’s comparison pages only holds from the 300,000-credit add-on up.

The FAQ on the same page speaks of an add-on “starting at 1,000 credits for $10”, while the add-on window prices 500 credits at $10 and 1,000 at $20. Yearly: “25% OFF”, $441 a year for 24,000 credits on Starter, delivered at once and expiring at the yearly renewal.

Prospeo cost calculator: your emails and mobiles per month

You save $90 per month with Emelia ($1,080 per year).
How each tool charges
Prospeo bills Starter ($49), Growth ($99) and Pro ($249) per user and per month, with 2,000, 5,000 and 15,000 credits, plus one add-on tier from $10; Free stops at 100 credits. An email costs 1 credit and a mobile 10, email included.
Emelia does not bill per user, and its credits need no sending plan: all that counts is the monthly pack that covers your volume, from $19 for 1,000 credits, valid for 12 months. An email found costs 1 credit, a phone number 50, and nothing is charged when nothing is found. Packs are monthly only, so the yearly view uses the same price.
Prospeo as listed, Emelia before tax; monthly billing and one Prospeo user, since each extra seat pays its own plan. Yearly plans are left out: they deliver twelve months of credits at once. Emelia: its credit packs alone, nothing else.
Unused Prospeo credits: a reset at renewal, and a roll-over under test
The default version of the pricing page answers with a reset: “Credits reset on renewal and do not roll over”, and the help centre says the same for plans and add-ons. Prospeo is also showing part of its new visitors a second version, with “Unused credits rollover” under each paid plan and terms (section 2.2) where “Unused paid-plan credits roll over to the next billing period, capped at the plan's base credit allowance”. The comparisons on this site take the stricter reading, a reset at each renewal.
- Yearly plans: the year’s credits arrive on day one and expire at the yearly renewal; switching between monthly and yearly makes add-on credits lapse at once.
- Cancelling: credits stay usable until the end of the paid period, then expire when the account falls back to Free; the team is dissolved and no refund is due (“All purchases are final”).
- Upgrading: the help centre says a higher plan is charged at full price right away, while the pricing page FAQ speaks of paying “only the pro-rated difference”.
- Emelia: monthly packs whose credits stay valid 12 months after purchase, cancellation included, so a quiet month does not cost you what you paid for.
Per-user pricing since January 2026
Until December 2025, Prospeo’s plans were not priced per user: a team shared one plan from Growth up. The current grid, priced per seat, appeared between December 15, 2025 and January 16, 2026.
- Then: 75 free credits a month, Starter at $39 for 1,000 credits, Growth at $99 for 5,000, Pro at $199 for 20,000, Business at $369 for 50,000; 30% off on yearly billing.
- Now: 100 free credits, Starter at $49 for 2,000, Growth unchanged at $99, Pro at $249 for 15,000, no Business, each user billed.
- What it changes: an entry credit costs less ($0.039 then, $0.0245 now), but 50,000 credits a month went from $369 to $699 (Starter with an add-on), and a team of 3 on Starter pays $147 a month for 6,000 pooled credits.
- Old figures still around: Prospeo’s blog articles still quote the old Starter at $39 and Business at $369, one of them with “no seat fees”, and its /llm-info page gives Pro at $199 for 20,000 credits.
Prospeo pricing questions
On paid plans, yes, with no API fee: calls draw on the same credits, within daily limits of 2,000 enrichments on Starter, 5,000 on Growth and 500,000 on Pro. The plan table gives Free no access, although the API documentation speaks of free access for all users. Emelia’s API comes with each of its plans.
Each user pays a plan and brings its credits to a shared pool; seats are named and cannot be shared. An add-on is shared too, but it does not grow with the number of seats. Emelia bills no seat: one pack covers everyone.
100 credits every month with no card and no end date, so 100 emails or 10 mobiles; the database, the extension and the MCP server, but no CSV enrichment, no API access in the plan table, and a selection of 25 rows at once. Emelia’s free start is a 7-day trial with 20 credits for a work email.
No. Its terms state that all purchases are final, with no refund for partial months, unused credits, downgrades or early termination; add-ons are not refunded either. A price change applies at renewal, with 30 days’ notice.
