Wiza’s prices against Emelia’s in 30 seconds
- Per email
- 10,000 emails a month: $1,524 at Wiza (Email plan plus $1,425 of overage), $99 at Emelia in one pack. Emelia’s packs cost less than Wiza’s plans at 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 emails, whatever the exchange rate.
- Per user
- Starter, Email and Email + Phone are priced per user, and each extra user pays a plan. Emelia’s packs have no per-user fee.
- Credits
- Wiza resets credits at each billing period and loses them when you cancel. Emelia’s stay valid 12 months, even after you cancel.
What Wiza bills: a valid email, or a contact with a phone number
Wiza keeps two counters, email credits and phone credits, and only spends them when a result comes back.
- 1 email credit = 1 email marked “valid”. An email Wiza cannot fully verify is returned as “risky” and is free to export and use; a lookup with no email costs nothing.
- 1 phone credit = 1 contact with at least one number, and that contact can come back with up to 3 numbers. A number reported as wrong is searched again without a new credit.
- Duplicates: a profile already exported into the same folder, with “Skip duplicates” ticked, is not charged twice.
- Per user: each seat pays for its own plan, all users on the same type of plan; Wiza does not publish whether a team’s credits add up or are pooled.
- On Emelia’s side: 1 credit per email found and verified, 50 per phone number, nothing charged when nothing is found, and no per-user fee: the pack serves the whole team.

Wiza overage: what each email and number costs past the quota
Beyond a plan’s quota, Wiza keeps going and bills $0.15 per valid email and $0.35 per contact with a number, charged to the card on file as you go until the next renewal.
That makes the cheapest plan depend on the month’s volume. With emails only, Starter plus overage costs less than Email up to 433 emails a month; above that, Email wins, and 1,000 emails come to $174 (Email, $75 overage). With phone numbers only, Starter plus overage remains the cheapest Wiza plan at every volume, because Email charges each number from the first and Email + Phone costs more for the same numbers. Email + Phone pays off when both quotas are used: 500 emails and 500 numbers cost $199 there, against $249 on Starter.
Per result, an email costs $0.49 inside Starter if only its emails are used, $0.198 inside Email, $0.15 as overage; with Emelia, from $0.019 with the 1,000-credit pack to $0.005 with the largest. A phone number costs $0.35 as overage at Wiza, and from $0.95 to $0.25 with Emelia’s packs, refunded when no number is found.
A declined payment pauses the account, and Wiza’s help centre states that users are responsible for overage charges, with compensation handled case by case.

Wiza bills in US dollars and Emelia in your currency: in euros, no difference is calculated and a winner is shown only when it holds at any exchange rate. Wiza counts 1 credit per valid email and 1 per contact with a number (up to 3 numbers); Emelia 1 per email and 50 per number. Each extra Wiza user pays a plan; Emelia’s pack serves the whole team.

How each tool charges
Wiza sells Starter ($49), Email ($99) and Email + Phone ($199) per user and per month, each with a quota of valid emails and numbers, then $0.15 per extra email and $0.35 per extra number; the free plan stops at 20 emails and 5 numbers.
Emelia does not bill per user, and its credits need no sending plan: all that counts is the monthly pack that covers your volume, from $19 for 1,000 credits, valid for 12 months. An email found costs 1 credit, a phone number 50, and nothing is charged when nothing is found. Packs are monthly only, so the yearly view uses the same price.
Emelia excluding tax, Wiza as listed; monthly billing, one Wiza user (its rule for sharing credits across users is not published). Yearly “unlimited” plans and one-off API credits are left out. Emelia: its credit subscription alone, nothing else.
Wiza yearly plans: unlimited reveals within an export quota
On yearly billing, Wiza drops the monthly email and phone quotas: “Receive unlimited credits when you pay yearly”. Two plans are offered, the Starter plan is not one of them, and neither appears in the tables above: Emelia’s packs are sold by the month, and a yearly commitment cannot be weighed against a monthly one.
- Email: $990 a year per user (shown as $83 a month), unlimited email reveals, phone numbers at $0.35 each.
- Email + Phone: $1,990 a year per user (shown as $166 a month), unlimited email and phone reveals.
- The discount: about 17% against twelve months of the monthly plan, paid upfront.
- The export quota of the yearly plans: 2,500 export credits a month, which one help article calls a hard cap while another says overages may be allowed when enabled, at a price Wiza does not publish; every person in a list built in Wiza Prospect or uploaded as a CSV uses one, whether or not a detail is found. The same quota used to be shown as 30,000 exports a year.
- Fair use on single reveals: 500 per 24 hours and 50 per 5 minutes, which support does not raise.
Wiza credits reset each billing period, with no roll-over
Unused email and phone credits do not carry over to the next month or year, on every Wiza plan, the unlimited and custom ones included; the reset follows your subscription date, not the calendar.
- Cancelling: self-serve from the billing page (Enterprise through customer success). Credits and lists stay available until the end of the period, then the credits expire and access to Wiza Prospect and the CRM integrations is removed; lists already exported remain yours. Every plan renews automatically until cancelled.
- Closing the account: remaining credits are lost at once, neither refunded nor transferred.
- Pausing: monthly plans only, for up to 3 months, with the remaining credits usable during the pause.
- Changing plan: a downgrade takes effect at the renewal date; an upgrade applies at once, with credit for the time left.
- Refunds: Wiza’s terms of service (updated April 16, 2025) say it does not refund users, and set a 14-day window for any request.
- At Emelia: credits stay valid 12 months after purchase, even after you cancel.
The Wiza Team plan went from a list price to a quote
For 3 users or more, Wiza sells the Team Plan, billed annually, with unlimited emails and numbers, Wiza Prospect, CSV import, API access and a dedicated success manager. Its price is no longer published.
Archived versions of the pricing page show the change: the Team Plan was listed at $399 a month in September 2025, $449 in February 2026, then “Custom pricing” from June 2026.
The rest of the grid moved too. Early 2024, the entry plan cost $30 for 75 email credits and unused credits rolled over; from March 2024, the Email and Email + Phone plans took over at today’s prices; Starter appeared in late 2025 with 20 numbers, raised to 100 by December 2025.
The pricing page also lists Wiza Prospect, CSV import and API access under the Team Plan only, while Wiza’s help centre opens Prospect, CSV uploads and API credits to all accounts: on this point, the two sources do not say the same thing.
More on paying for Wiza
Per result, yes: API credits cost $0.025 each, 2,000 at least ($50), with 2 credits per email returned ($0.05) and 5 per phone number ($0.125), nothing when no data comes back. They are a one-off purchase for developers, valid 12 months according to the API documentation, so they are not compared here with monthly packs.
No. It gives 20 valid emails and 5 phone numbers, and it needs a business email address; no trial of a paid plan is offered. Emelia also starts without a card: a 7-day trial plus 20 credits when you sign up with a business email.
No: they expire at the end of the billing period in which you cancel, and immediately if you close the account. Emelia’s credits remain usable for 12 months after purchase, subscription or not.
Per month, yes: Email and Email + Phone cost about 17% less when the year is paid upfront, and reveals become unlimited within the export quota and fair-use limits. Starter has no yearly version.
