Wiza and Emelia in 30 seconds
- Emails
- 10,000 emails a month cost $1,524 at Wiza (Email plan plus $1,425 of overage) and $99 at Emelia, in one 10,000-credit pack. At 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 emails, Emelia’s packs cost less than Wiza’s plans, whatever the exchange rate.
- Credits
- Wiza’s credits reset at every billing period and are lost when you cancel; Emelia’s stay valid 12 months after purchase, even after you cancel.
- Team and sending
- Every Wiza user pays a plan, and Wiza sends nothing. One Emelia pack serves the whole team, and Start ($37 a month) adds sending from 3 mailboxes and 1 LinkedIn account.

The Wiza Chrome extension since August 19, 2026: one LinkedIn profile at a time
The Wiza extension, listed on the Chrome Web Store as “Wiza - Phone Number & Email Finder”, opens a side panel on a LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter profile and reveals that person’s email and phone number. On August 19, 2026, Wiza removed the bulk side: exporting whole searches and saved lists.
What the extension still does
On a full profile (not the lead preview inside a Sales Navigator list) or a company page, the panel reveals the work email, for 1 email credit when it is valid, and the phone number, for 1 phone credit when at least one is found. From the same panel you add the person to a Wiza list, push them to your CRM or to a Gong Engage flow, and see whether they are already in the CRM. A beta called Wiza Anywhere brings the same panel to company websites, where several contacts can still be picked at once for a list.
It runs on Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave, and it is optional: Wiza Prospect, CSV uploads and CRM imports work without it, and without a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator account.
What stopped on August 19, 2026
Bulk export and multi-select are gone from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter search, list and company pages, as are the buttons on the profile page itself. Wiza’s help centre says the change applies to every account and plan, and that support cannot make an exception. The reason it gives, in its own words: “LinkedIn has tightened what third-party extensions can do on its platform.” On a Sales Navigator search, the panel now offers a search in Wiza Prospect instead; for lists, Wiza points to Wiza Prospect, CSV upload or CRM import.
Not every Wiza page has caught up. The Chrome Web Store listing, updated on October 11, 2026 (version 0.3.57), still describes exporting searches and saved lead lists in bulk, as do its Sales and Recruiting pages, and the home page still has the extension “bulk export prospects to CSV”. The listing shows 3.7 out of 5 from 140 ratings and 100,000 users; Wiza’s own site quotes 4.8 on the Chrome Web Store.
Emelia’s extension on the same pages
Emelia’s Chrome extension works on a LinkedIn profile too: it finds the person’s email and phone number, charged in credits only when found, and adds them to an Emelia campaign. In a Sales Navigator search, its “Export with Emelia” button sends the whole search to Emelia, which extracts the leads. Export your Sales Navigator searches, with no limit on the number of exports, from $37 a month before tax.
What is Wiza today: an email and phone finder with its own contact database
Wiza was founded in May 2019. In 2026, it describes itself as a tool to “find verified emails and phone numbers in seconds”, and says it verifies each contact detail at the moment you request it.
There are now three ways in, all paid with the same credits. Wiza Prospect is a searchable database inside the app, with 850M+ contacts claimed by Wiza, 30+ filters, people or company search, plain-language queries and a Technologies filter in beta since August 17, 2026; lists of up to 10,000 rows are exported to CSV or synced to a CRM. The extension covers one profile at a time. Files, CRM imports and the API enrich contacts you already have, from a name and company, a LinkedIn URL or an email.
Around them sit AI Research, which answers questions about each contact or company from the web (100 free searches at sign-up), and AI columns in Wiza Prospect. List automations refresh a list on a schedule, flag job changes and add contacts to a sequence, and a two-way sync covers Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Attio and Creatio.
What Wiza does not do: send. There is no sequence and no sending mailbox; contacts go to Outreach, Salesloft, Gong Engage and Nooks through integrations, even though its footer calls Wiza a “sales prospecting & engagement platform”. Emelia, by contrast, runs the cold email and LinkedIn campaigns itself, and finds emails and phone numbers with credits that need no plan.
Wiza on LinkedIn as an email finder: from a profile to a verified email and phone
Whichever way a contact reaches Wiza, the profile, a list or the API, the charge follows the result, not the attempt.
- Emails: 1 email credit for each email Wiza marks “valid”. An email it cannot fully verify comes back as “risky” and costs nothing; no email found costs nothing either.
- Phone numbers: 1 phone credit per contact with at least one number, and up to 3 numbers for that contact. A number you report as wrong triggers a new search without another credit.
- Personal emails: available alongside work emails on exports that include them; Wiza lists 40+ data points per contact on its home page and 50+ on its API page.
- Duplicates: the same LinkedIn profile exported twice into the same folder, with “Skip duplicates” ticked, is not charged again; into another folder, it is.
- Yearly plans: lists built in Wiza Prospect or from a CSV also spend 1 export credit per person, whether or not a detail is found (see the pricing page).
- With Emelia: 1 credit per email found, already verified, and 50 credits per phone number, searched across several providers in a waterfall and refunded when none is found.
Wiza, the company: Stephen Hakami’s business since 2019
The company behind Wiza is Wiza, Inc., whose privacy policy and Chrome Web Store listing give a postal address in Newark, Delaware. The site does not state where the team is headquartered; its job openings are in Toronto and New York.
A post on its blog dates the founding to May 2019, and its demo page presents Stephen Hakami as CEO & Founder. Headcount, revenue and funding rounds are not published.
Customer figures change from page to page: “350,000+ sales professionals” on the Sales page, “100,000+ recruiters” on the Recruiting page, “50,000+ businesses” on others, “500,000+ GTM professionals” in its home page description and Trust Center, “1M+” on the demo page. The home page shows logos from Microsoft, Google, Slack, Teradata, UserTesting and Salesforce. Security documentation, including a SOC 2 Type 2 report, is available on request from its Trust Center.
Wiza reviews: G2 and Capterra next to the Chrome Web Store
Scores read in October 2026. G2 and Capterra block automated reading, so their figures come from search listings, where the G2 count varies between 1,158 and 1,247; the Chrome Web Store and Trustpilot were read on their own pages.
Where the scores are high
- G2: 4.5 out of 5 across more than 1,100 reviews, the largest sample of the four
- Capterra: ease of use 4.6/5 and customer service 4.3/5
- 100,000 people use the extension, according to its listing
Where they drop
- Capterra: value for money is the lowest sub-score, 4.0/5, then features at 4.1/5
- Chrome Web Store: 3.7, while Wiza’s site advertises 4.8 there, and 4.6 on G2
- Trustpilot: 1.8 from 14 reviews, on a page Wiza has not claimed
Wiza API: credits bought separately, valid 12 months
The API (docs.wiza.co) has its own credits, sold by the unit to any Wiza user: $0.025 a credit, from 2,000 credits ($50) up to 200,000 ($5,000), with no plan required.
- What a call costs: 2 credits when at least one valid email comes back ($0.05), 5 when at least one phone number does ($0.125), 1 for the profile alone, 0.5 per company in a company search; no data returned, no credit charged.
- How it works: send a reveal (a LinkedIn URL is the recommended input), then read it back or receive it by webhook; lists and Wiza Prospect searches have their own endpoints. Up to 15 requests a second and 3 API keys per account.
- How long credits last: 12 months after purchase in the API documentation and the latest help article, while an older article said they do not expire. Clay, n8n and Apollo.io can call Wiza with your own API key.
- MCP server: since May 2026, AI assistants can call Wiza through an MCP server open to all users, with an API key and the same API credits.
- A mismatch on the pricing page: “API access” is listed only in the Team Plan there, while the help centre opens API credits to every user; API plans themselves are priced on a call.
- Emelia’s API: it comes with every Emelia plan, at 100 to 1,000 requests a minute depending on the plan; its credit packs pay for the emails and numbers found.

Emelia’s prices exclude tax; Wiza’s pricing page does not say whether its own do. Wiza bills in US dollars only and Emelia’s figures follow your currency; in euros, no difference is calculated and a row only shows a winner if it holds at any exchange rate. Units: Wiza counts 1 credit per valid email and 1 per contact with a number (up to 3 numbers), Emelia 1 per email and 50 per number. Yearly “unlimited” plans and one-off API credits are left out: monthly against monthly.
How Wiza charges: a plan per user, then each result beyond it
Wiza’s monthly plans are priced per user: Starter at $49 (100 valid emails and 100 numbers a month), Email at $99 (500 emails), Email + Phone at $199 (500 emails and 500 numbers), and a free plan with 20 emails and 5 numbers. Beyond the quota, each email costs $0.15 and each number $0.35, charged to the card on file.
Paid yearly, Email and Email + Phone become “unlimited” within an export quota and fair-use limits, and the Team Plan for 3+ users is on quote. The Wiza pricing page details each plan, the overages, the yearly terms and a simulator against Emelia’s packs.

Wiza questions, from login to the free plan
The app lives at wiza.co/app; you sign in there with the business email used at sign-up (free email domains are refused when you create an account).
No. Since August 19, 2026, the extension no longer exports searches or lists from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter, for every plan. Wiza now builds lists in Wiza Prospect, from a CSV or from a CRM import. With Emelia, the “Export with Emelia” button sends a Sales Navigator search to Emelia, with no limit on the number of exports, from $37 a month before tax.
Each user pays for a plan, and all users must be on the same type of plan. Wiza shows team balances and lets admins set credit limits per member, but it does not publish whether credits add up per seat or form a common pool. Emelia does not bill per user: one credit pack serves the whole team.
It depends on what you used it for: Sales Navigator exports, profile-by-profile lookups, another database or file enrichment. The Wiza alternatives page prices each option against the same need, Emelia first.
Against ZoomInfo, the gap is in how you buy: public monthly plans on a card against a quoted contract of one year or more (Wiza vs ZoomInfo). Against Lusha, it is in how a phone number is billed (Wiza vs Lusha).
Yes: 20 valid emails and 5 phone numbers, with no credit card; the pricing page no longer says whether that is once or every month, and banners elsewhere on the site speak of 25 free credits. Emelia gives 20 credits at sign-up with a business email and a 7-day trial, also without a card.
