Cognism alternatives compared: price and features
One row per tool from this page, Cognism first for reference: who it suits, its entry price for the same need (credits only) and what it does. The sections below explain each choice.
Monthly prices, billed monthly unless stated, excluding VAT, read on each publisher’s site (checked between October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026). Emelia’s prices follow your currency; tools billed in dollars only stay in dollars, and those billed in euros only stay in euros. –: not offered, or not checked for this need.
Emelia: contact details by the credit, then the campaign
- 1
Best for: Finding emails and mobiles, then emailing and messaging on LinkedInEmelia replaces Cognism’s seats with a monthly credit subscription that needs no plan: 1,000 credits for $19, 1 credit per email found and verified, 50 per phone number searched across several providers, nothing charged when nothing is found, and credits that stay valid for 12 months even after you cancel. It has no database of its own: you bring a file, a LinkedIn search or a Sales Navigator search, and its Chrome extension finds the email and number on a LinkedIn profile. Where Cognism exports to Outreach or Salesloft, Emelia sends the campaign itself, email and LinkedIn steps in one sequence. A 7-day trial needs no card, and a work email adds 20 credits. Against Cognism, Emelia does not check numbers by calling them, and it charges a phone number apart from the email.

Kaspr, the Cognism product you pay by card, and Lusha
Both sell contact details from their own database, through a LinkedIn extension, with public prices, a free plan and monthly billing. Each counts a phone number apart from an email.
- 1
Best for: European mobiles from LinkedIn, billed per licence
Kaspr has belonged to Cognism since April 27, 2022, and its president, Dominic Allon, is Cognism’s chief executive. It sells what Cognism does not: a free plan (15 emails and 5 phone numbers a month) and monthly licences, with 100 numbers per licence on Starter. Cognism calls the two databases independent; Kaspr says they share information. Kaspr’s own comparison with Cognism says its data is not checked against do-not-call lists, and its pricing page offers no email campaign.

The Free plan gives 40 credits a month, Starter 400 for $49.90, paid by card in US dollars. Its extension works beyond LinkedIn, on Gmail and in CRMs, and Engage sends sequences from each user’s mailbox. Its help centre keeps do-not-call filtering for the Scale plan, which is on quote.

A database with sequences, billed per user: Apollo
- 1
Best for: A large database with email sequences and a free planWhere Cognism stops at the contact, Apollo carries on to the email: sequences go out from your own mailboxes, while LinkedIn steps remain tasks you complete by hand. It starts with a free plan, then charges per licence each month in US dollars (Basic: $65), against Cognism’s quote and yearly renewal. Credits come with each licence, and a phone number takes 8 of them where Cognism counts the whole contact as one.

The other database sold on quote: ZoomInfo
- 1
Best for: A larger, US-built database, also on contractZoomInfo claims 500M+ contacts and 100M+ companies, 66M+ of the contacts in Europe, and sells its platform on quote with contracts of 1 to 3 years that cannot be cancelled. Its one public price is GTM.AI, data credits for the API at $0.45 down to $0.25 a record, without mobile numbers. Moving from Cognism to ZoomInfo trades one sales contract for another, with intent data on 4,500+ topics and a less European focus.

Enriching a list you already have: Clay, Hunter, Icypeas
If your lists come from your CRM, your events or LinkedIn rather than from a database search, an enrichment tool fills in the emails without a seat contract.
- 1
Best for: Waterfall enrichment across many providersClay sends each row of a table from one provider to the next, out of 150+ in its marketplace, until an email or a number comes back. Launch costs $185 a month with unlimited seats, after a free plan. It suits teams that design their own enrichment workflows, and its Sequencer sends cold email; it does not automate LinkedIn.

- 3
Best for: Emails found and verified by the credit, credits that never expireIcypeas is a finder and verifier sold by the credit, with no seat: its smallest monthly subscription costs $19, and unused credits carry over without an end date, a point Cognism does not publish. It looks up work emails rather than mobiles, so it covers only part of what a Cognism contact holds. Its own people database is recent (July 2025), and it sends nothing.

Leaving Cognism: other questions
It depends on which part of Cognism you are replacing. For finding emails and phone numbers and then contacting people, Emelia finds them with credits from $19 a month and sends email and LinkedIn campaigns from its Start plan. Kaspr and Lusha sell database contacts by card; ZoomInfo is the other database sold on quote; Clay, Hunter and Icypeas enrich lists you already have.
Cognism publishes comparison pages against all three, as well as Lead411, LeadIQ, SalesIntel, Dealfront and Clearbit. Of the three, RocketReach is the one we have checked: per-user licences from $69 a month (100 email lookups) to $209 (1,000 lookups with phone numbers), each user with a balance of their own, where Cognism pools credits on quote. We have not checked the prices or data of Seamless.AI and UpLead, so they are not in the table above.
By not renewing: Cognism’s general terms renew a subscription automatically unless you give notice 60 days before the end of the period, and fees already paid are not refunded. Moving to another provider carries no switching charge, and contacts you have already exported stay usable after the contract ends.
Not on its own: LinkedIn Sales Navigator finds people among 1+ billion LinkedIn members, but shows an email only when a member has made it public, and exports no list. Cognism’s extension reveals those details on Sales Navigator pages, one credit per contact; Emelia exports Sales Navigator searches, with no cap on the number of exports, from its Start plan, and finds the emails at 1 credit each.
