RocketReach Pricing 2026: Plans, Lookups and Cost Per Contact
RocketReach presents itself as one of the largest B2B contact databases in the world: 700 million profiles, 60 million companies, verified emails and phone numbers behind a Chrome extension.
The advertised price is more ambiguous. On monthly billing, the entry plan sits at $39 per month, emails only. Phone numbers start with the Pro plan, at $79. And the number that really counts is not the "unlimited" lookup: it is the export quota.
This article details the pricing recorded in August 2026, the difference between a lookup and an export, the real cost of an email and a phone number, what a team of one, three or five reps pays, then the cheaper alternatives. One framing point before the numbers: RocketReach is first a contact database. It reveals the email and the phone. It does not send your sequences, does not warm up your inboxes, does not automate LinkedIn. Emelia, compared further down, starts from the same need, find the email and the number, then carries the chain through to sending.
How much does RocketReach cost in 2026? The full pricing
RocketReach publishes three self-serve plans, a free plan and a Team / Enterprise offer on quote. The prices below are the ones shown on the official page in August 2026, in dollars, per user, monthly toggle, 1 seat.
Plan | Price per month | Annual, per month | Billed yearly | Lookups | Exports | Data |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Free | $0 | Not applicable | Not applicable | 5 in total | None | Email only |
Essentials | $39 | $19 | $229 | 100 / month, unlimited on annual | 100 / month, 1,200 / year | Email only |
Pro | $79 | $52 | $619 | 250 / month, unlimited on annual | 250 / month, 3,600 / year | Email + phone |
Ultimate | $169 | $115 | $1,379 | 1,000 / month, unlimited on annual | 1,000 / month, 20,000 / year | Email + phone |
Team | On quote | On quote | From $6,000 | Pooled | Pooled | Email + phone |
The annual toggle shows a "Save 50%" banner. The real discount only matches that figure on one plan: 51% on Essentials, 34% on Pro and 32% on Ultimate. An extra seat takes off another 5%. And switching to annual does not only change the price: it makes lookups unlimited and replaces the monthly export cap with a yearly cap.
The free plan: 5 lookups, and nothing more
The free plan is there to test the extension, not to prospect. Five lookups, emails only, no CSV export, no API, no phone. No credit card. It is an honest demo, and not enough to measure the match rate on your ICP. Five profiles say nothing about a list of 500 French accounts or a niche vertical.
Essentials at $39: email alone, no phone
Essentials is the entry plan. $39 per month, billed at $39 USD monthly. You get verified personal and professional emails, the extension, person / company search, and up to 500 emails sent per day through RocketReach Messages.
What you do not get: mobile and direct dial numbers. The cap is 100 lookups and 100 exports per month on monthly billing. On annual, lookups become unlimited and exports are capped at 1,200 for the year. RocketReach publishes no overage price: the only lever beyond the quota is changing plan.
Essentials fits a freelancer who only needs emails, at moderate volume. As soon as you want to call, the next plan up is the answer.
Pro at $79: the real entry ticket if you want phone numbers
Pro is the plan most SDRs and recruiters end up taking. $79 per month. You unlock:
verified emails;
mobiles and direct dials;
250 lookups and 250 exports per month on monthly billing;
on annual, unlimited lookups and 3,600 exports for the year;
technographics, news, org charts;
Autopilot, 10 active jobs;
Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Bullhorn integrations.
It is also the first plan where the cost per contact becomes reasonable again, provided you actually use the 250 exports. A rep who exports only 80 records per month pays for Pro at an Essentials volume, with the phone on top.
Ultimate at $169: volume, intent and advanced data
Ultimate moves to $169 per month, or $115 on annual, that is $1,379 for the year. The jump makes sense if you need:
1,000 lookups and 1,000 exports per month on monthly billing;
on annual, unlimited lookups and 20,000 exports for the year;
Autopilot, 25 active jobs;
advanced Salesforce mapping;
intent data and healthcare data.
For a solo user, Ultimate is often too expensive. For a small team that enriches in bulk and pushes to the CRM, it is the first plan where RocketReach stops being a Chrome extension and becomes a data layer.
Team and Enterprise plans: the quote and the price per seat
As soon as you add seats, the bill multiplies too. RocketReach bills per user. A discount of about 5% sometimes appears from the second seat. Credits and exports can be pooled on Team offers.
RocketReach states in writing that these offers start at $6,000 per year. As always with this type of contract, the price is negotiable. The page also specifies that cancellation only takes effect at the end of the current term, the year or month already paid: there is no prorated refund.
Lookups and exports: the two counters that drive the bill
This is the point the pricing page buries. RocketReach talks about lookups. Your budget runs into exports.
What a lookup is
A lookup is opening a record: you search for a person, you reveal the email, possibly the phone. RocketReach writes it in its FAQ: a lookup is only counted if an email or a phone number is found and verified, otherwise it is credited back. So you do not pay for empty searches.
What an export is
An export is the moment the contact leaves the interface: CSV, CRM, integration, list. The export quota is firm:
Essentials: 100 per month on monthly billing, 1,200 for the year on annual;
Pro: 250 per month on monthly billing, 3,600 for the year on annual;
Ultimate: 1,000 per month on monthly billing, 20,000 for the year on annual.
So you can "lookup" more than you export. Conversely, you can max out your exports while lookups remain. For a team that pushes everything into HubSpot, the export is what ends the month.
Unlimited does not mean without a cap
On monthly billing, lookups and exports are aligned and capped: 100, 250 or 1,000 per month depending on the plan. On annual billing, the logic changes completely. Lookups become genuinely unlimited, the official matrix states it for all three plans, and exports carry the limit: 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 for the year. In other words, annual does not lift a cap, it moves one.
RocketReach publishes no price for lookups beyond the quota. The only rule written on the page is the refund for searches with no result. If your volume exceeds the plan, the sales answer is the upgrade, not billed overage.
Email or phone: what each plan really unlocks
The email / phone difference is not a detail. It is a plan jump.
Essentials: emails only
On Essentials, you buy emails. Personal and professional, verified on demand and in real time, with accuracy stated at 98% by the vendor on its pricing page. No mobile, no direct dial. If your process is 100% cold email, the plan holds. If a rep has to call, Essentials is an incomplete plan.
Pro and Ultimate: emails + mobiles + direct dials
The phone arrives with Pro. It is the "Lookup Type" row of the official matrix: Email on Essentials, Email and Phone on Pro and Ultimate. RocketReach publishes no phone coverage rate by country, and that is exactly what you need to measure on your market during the first lookups.
Budget consequence: the "cost per contact" of Essentials is only comparable to Pro if you need the email alone. As soon as you want email and phone together, the reference plan is no longer $39, it is $79.
The real cost of a contact with RocketReach
The only useful figure is the cost per exported contact, full plan, quota consumed. If you use only half the quota, the unit cost doubles.
Cost per contact on monthly billing
Plan | Monthly price | Exports / month | Cost per contact | Data |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Essentials | $39 | 100 | $0.39 | Email alone |
Pro | $79 | 250 | $0.32 | Email + phone |
Ultimate | $169 | 1,000 | $0.17 | Email + phone |
Ultimate only becomes worthwhile if you really export close to 1,000 records per month. At 250 exports, you pay for Ultimate at a Pro volume.
Cost per contact on annual billing
Plan | Annual price | Exports / year | Cost per contact | Data |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Essentials | $229 | 1,200 | $0.19 | Email alone |
Pro | $619 | 3,600 | $0.17 | Email + phone |
Ultimate | $1,379 | 20,000 | $0.07 | Email + phone |
On annual, the gap between plans widens: a contact comes to $0.19 on Essentials, $0.17 on Pro and $0.07 on Ultimate, provided you empty the year's export cap.
What a complete contact costs (email + phone)
A complete contact does not exist on Essentials. On Pro, if you export the 250 records and the phone is present on part of them, you are around $0.32 per exported record, phone included in the plan, not billed separately.
Compare with a credit model: at Lusha, a phone number costs 10 credits; at Kaspr, phone credits are capped separately; at Emelia, a phone number uses 50 credits (20 numbers for 1,000 credits at €19, so about €0.95 per number), and an email found uses 1 credit.
RocketReach is not the most expensive tool on the market per record if you are on Pro and you empty the quota. It becomes expensive as soon as you work alone, use the email only, or add seats.
The real price for a team of 1, 3 or 5 reps
RocketReach bills per seat. Three reps on Pro is not one shared Pro. It is three Pro.
Team | Plan | Billing | Budget / month | Budget / year | Exports / year | Cost / export |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 person | Essentials | Monthly | $39 | $468 | 1,200 | $0.39 |
1 person | Essentials | Annual | $19 | $229 | 1,200 | $0.19 |
1 person | Pro | Annual | $52 | $619 | 3,600 | $0.17 |
3 people | Pro | Annual | $156 | $1,857 | 10,800 | $0.17 |
5 people | Pro | Annual | $260 | $3,095 | 18,000 | $0.17 |
5 people | Ultimate | Annual | $575 | $6,895 | 100,000 | $0.07 |
At five Pro seats, you are already in the range of a mid-market all-in-one tool, for data alone. You still have to buy the sequencer, the warmup, possibly LinkedIn automation. That is where the "$39 per month" on the pricing page no longer has any link to the real budget.
The costs that do not appear on the pricing page
The annual commitment. The banner announces "Save 50%", but the real discount is 51% on Essentials, 34% on Pro and 32% on Ultimate. Cancellation only takes effect at the end of the paid term, with no prorated refund.
The seat. Each extra rep multiplies the line. A Pro annual at $52 becomes $260 per month as soon as you are five.
The export cap. On annual, it is the cap that ends the month, not the lookup: 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 for the year.
The phone behind a tier. Needing to call means Pro. The entry plan is an email plan.
The stack next to it. RocketReach Messages caps at 500 sends per day, on all three plans. It is not a multichannel sequencer with warmup and inbox rotation.
Wrong data. A lookup with no result is credited back, the page says so. Wrong data that passes as verified has already consumed the export.
What RocketReach does for that price
For the price, you mainly buy three things.
A broad database. 700 million profiles, 60 million companies, international coverage, including verticals (healthcare, legal, founders) that French-only tools do not cover as well.
A Chrome extension. For many users this is the real product: you are on LinkedIn, you open the profile, you reveal. Simple, fast, anchored in the daily work of the SDR and the recruiter.
Enrichment plus a bit of activation. Bulk lookups, CRM integrations from Pro up, Autopilot, Messages, and now an MCP server to query the database from an AI assistant. RocketReach is no longer only a directory. It is not an outreach platform either.
On quality, the pricing page claims 700 million profiles, 60 million companies, 98% accuracy on verified data, more than 30 million users and 95% of the S&P 500 among its customers. These are vendor figures. Field feedback is more mixed: good on US and tech profiles, less consistent on European mid-market and on mobile numbers. Treat the official rate as a ceiling, not as your match rate.
Who RocketReach pays off for, and who it does not
RocketReach is worth its price if you are in one of these cases:
recruiter or solo SDR who lives inside LinkedIn and wants to reveal fast, above all on a US or international market;
team already equipped with a sequencer, buying data only;
need for volume, in which case Ultimate or Team make sense;
broad ICP, standard titles, companies already well indexed.
It is a bad buy if:
you want email, LinkedIn and warmup in a single tool;
your market is France or French-speaking Europe and you need clean company data (SIRET, director, legal form);
you are several reps: the price per seat explodes before outreach even starts;
you only need emails, at volume, in which case Hunter or a credit-based finder often comes out cheaper;
you have to call a lot: the phone is on Pro, and the fill rate is not the one of a Cognism or a Kaspr in Europe.
Cheaper alternatives to RocketReach
The alternatives below are ranked in the order in which they actually replace RocketReach: first the tool that covers the whole chain, then the databases and finders.
Emelia
Emelia is a French prospecting platform: email finder, phone finder, verification, warmup, email sequences, LinkedIn automation and Sales Navigator scraping, in a single subscription. The data and the sending live in the same tool, so you do not get one bill to reveal the record and a second one to write to the prospect.
Credits are only spent if the email is found. No result, no charge. LinkedIn scraping and email sending consume no credits. Warmup is included on every connected inbox.
Emelia pricing
Plan | Price | Inboxes | LinkedIn accounts | Credits included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Start | €37 / month | 3 | 1 | 500 |
Grow | €97 / month | 50 | 5 | 1,000 |
Scale | €297 / month | Unlimited | 20 | 5,000 |
All plans: unlimited sending, warmup included, unlimited scraping, unlimited contacts, no commitment.
Optional credit pack from €19 for 1,000 credits (1,000 emails found, 4,000 verifications, 20 phone numbers).
One clarification is needed in an article about per-seat billing: Emelia has no team mode. One subscription matches one user account, and the sending inboxes and LinkedIn accounts of a plan are execution capacity, not seats for several reps.
On Start, 500 emails found + 3 warmed inboxes + 1 LinkedIn account cost €37. At RocketReach, €37 does not even cover a monthly Essentials, and includes neither structured sending, nor warmup, nor LinkedIn.
Apollo.io
Apollo is a B2B contact database with a finder, verification, email sequences and a dialer. You search inside its own database (title, size, tech, location), you export, you write. The LinkedIn extension exists, but it is not the core of the product: Apollo works without Sales Navigator.
Billing is per seat. Each rep has a license and a credit pool. An email generally uses 1 credit. A phone number often uses far more, 8 credits. The free tier gives a few credits each month, enough to test the database, not to run a team.
Plan | Annual price | Price per month | Seats | What you buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | Limited credits, restricted sequences |
Basic | $49 / seat / month | ~$59 to $65 | 1 | Database, sequences, email credits |
Professional | $79 / seat / month | ~$99 | 1 | More exports, phone credits |
Organization | ~$119 / seat / month | Often annual only | Team minimum common (3) | Volume, admin, governance |
Three reps on Basic is $147 / month on annual, not $49. Phone credits drain the pool eight times faster than email: a list of 200 mobiles on Basic is enough to blow the month's allocation.
Apollo fits if you want data and sending in the same seat. It fits badly if you only want a LinkedIn extension, or if you refuse to pay a seat per person. Details in Apollo.io Pricing 2026.
Hunter.io
Hunter finds and verifies emails from a name and a domain. Domain Search (all the visible addresses of a company) is the real product. The LinkedIn extension exists, lighter than a Sales Navigator export. Hunter also sends sequences, on a number of inboxes set by the plan. No phone. No warmup. Details in Hunter.io Pricing 2026.
Credits are shared by the account, not by seat: users are unlimited, the cap is the credit pool.
Plan | Price | Credits / month | Inboxes | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Free | $0 | 50 | 1 | Unlimited |
Starter | $49 / month | 2,000 | 3 | Unlimited |
Growth | $149 / month | 10,000 | 10 | Unlimited |
Scale | $299 / month | 25,000 | 20 | Unlimited |
Enterprise | On quote | On quote | On quote | Unlimited |
1 credit = 1 email found. 0.5 credit = 1 verification. Addresses that come out of the Finder arrive already verified, so you do not pay twice on the same contact. Cost of an email found:
Starter: ~$0.025
Growth: ~$0.015
Scale: ~$0.012
The cap is not the Hunter plan, it is the number of inboxes and the volume each inbox can send without dedicated warmup. Hunter is the right buy for domain email, at volume, at a low unit cost. It is a bad buy as soon as you need the mobile number or a LinkedIn campaign.
Lusha
Lusha reveals the email and the phone behind a LinkedIn profile, per credit and per seat. One email = 1 credit. One number = 10 credits. A complete contact (email + number) = 11 credits. Empty searches, or credits wasted on an API that finds nothing, can still be spent, depending on the flow. Details in Lusha Pricing 2026.
The 2026 pricing has a new Starter plan, a Pro on a slider, a Premium that jumps in price, a Scale on quote.
Plan | Price | Credits / month | Seats | Rollover |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Free | $0 | 40 | 1 | No |
Starter | ~$49.90 / month | 400 | 1 | No |
Pro | $69.90 to $227 | 600 to 2,000 | 2 | Up to 2× the allocation on monthly billing |
Premium | ~$399.90 | 3,400 | 5 | Up to 2× the allocation on monthly billing |
Scale | On quote | Negotiated | Negotiated | Per contract |
Unit cost, monthly billing, number at 10 credits:
Plan | Credit cost | One email | One number | Email + number |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Starter ($49.90) | $0.125 | $0.13 | $1.25 | $1.38 |
Pro (2,000 credits) | $0.114 | $0.11 | $1.14 | $1.25 |
Premium | $0.118 | $0.12 | $1.18 | $1.30 |
40 free credits is 40 emails or 4 numbers. Starter at 400 credits is 400 emails or 40 numbers, one week of prospecting if you call. Lusha stays readable as long as you stay alone on Starter. As soon as you add seats and pull the Pro slider, the page price and the invoice stop looking alike.
Kaspr
Kaspr is a LinkedIn extension that reveals the email and the number. French vendor, prices in euros, no seat minimum. B2B emails are unlimited from the first paid plan. Two counters are closed: phone credits and the yearly export quota. Details in Kaspr Pricing 2026.
Plan | Annual price | Price without commitment | B2B emails | Numbers | Exports / year |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Free | €0 | €0 | 15 / month | 5 | 100 leads |
Starter | €45 to €49 / user | €59 to €65 | Unlimited | 100 / month | 12,000 |
Business | €79 / user | €99 | Unlimited | 200 / month | 30,000 |
Enterprise | On quote | On quote | Negotiated | Negotiated | Negotiated |
Add-on packs, vendor ballpark figures:
phone credit: €0.21 to €0.36
direct email credit: €0.11 to €0.16
export credit: €0.03 to €0.10
On annual Starter, 1,200 numbers per year cost the price of the plan: about €0.45 to €0.50 per number if you empty the quota. The "unlimited" emails are of no use once the 12,000 exports are reached. Kaspr is the right tool if your daily move is opening a profile and calling. It is a bad tool if you want a Sales Navigator export of 2,500 rows, or to send a sequence from the same software.
Dropcontact
Dropcontact enriches a file you already have: last name, first name, company, domain. It does not browse LinkedIn profile by profile and offers no global database to query. The logic is French and European, with part of the billing on success depending on the offer. No native phone, no sending, no warmup.
Offer | Price | Volume | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|
Entry | around €79 / month | ~500 enrichments | File → emails |
Mid-tier | Slider | A few thousand | Same logic |
Enterprise | Quote | Volume + API | Contract |
The real cost depends on the match rate. 500 credits at €79 is €0.16 per enrichment launched, and more if you only keep the addresses actually found and valid. Dropcontact is useful to clean a French list before a campaign. It replaces neither an international database, nor a LinkedIn extension, nor a sequencer. Details in Dropcontact Pricing 2026.

Dropcontact | ~€79 / month | Enrichment credits | No | No |
RocketReach or Emelia: the comparison at real scope
Comparing the $19 of Essentials with the €37 of Emelia Start only makes sense if you buy the same thing. You do not.
Criterion | RocketReach | Emelia |
|---|---|---|
Entry ticket | $19 / month on annual, $39 monthly, per user | €37 / month, no commitment |
Included, export quota | 1 credit per email found | |
Phone | From Pro up, $52 / month on annual | Dedicated credits, rechargeable |
Verification | Built into the lookup | Included (0.25 credit) |
Cold email | Messages, typical cap 500 / day | Unlimited sending from Start |
Warmup | No | Included on every inbox |
Reveal extension | Automation + Sales Navigator scraper | |
SN scraping | No (profile by profile reveal) | Included, beyond the 2,500 results |
Billing | Per seat, annual commitment for the entry price | Per workspace, optional credits |
Hosting | US vendor | French vendor, GDPR |
Price for 3 reps, data + sending | 3 × Pro annual, $1,857 / year, plus sequencer and warmup | Grow at €97 / month, credits by volume |
RocketReach wins if your only problem is "I am on a US LinkedIn profile, I want the email and the mobile now". Emelia wins as soon as the problem is "I have to find, verify, warm up, write and follow up", above all as a team and on a European market.
How to choose your RocketReach plan in 2026
You are testing the tool. Free, 5 lookups. Then one month of monthly Essentials if you do not want to commit $229. Accept that this month costs you $0.39 per contact.
You only need emails, alone, around 100 per month. Annual Essentials, at $19 per month. Watch the export cap, not the word unlimited.
You call. Annual Pro, at $52 per month. Essentials is an incomplete plan for you.
You are three or more. Multiply the seat price by the number of reps and by twelve months: that total is what to look at, not the entry ticket.
You need the API. Ultimate or Team. Below that, the API is not the product.
Your volume exceeds the plan. There is no billed overage at RocketReach: the only way out is the plan above.
Should you pay for RocketReach in 2026?
Yes, if you are buying a database and an extension, if your ICP is international, and if outreach already lives in another tool. In that case, Pro on annual, at $52 per month, is the consistent plan for most teams. Essentials is an email plan. Ultimate is an API and volume plan.
No, if you pay for RocketReach believing you are buying a prospecting platform. You will have records. You will not have a campaign. At $619 per year and per person on Pro, plus the sequencer, plus the warmup, the budget goes past that of an all-in-one.
The real cost of a RocketReach contact, in 2026, sits between $0.07 and $0.39 depending on the plan and the billing mode, provided you consume the quota. The real cost of reaching a prospect is always higher, because data does not write the email.
Frequently Asked Questions About RocketReach Pricing in 2026
How much does RocketReach cost per month?+
On annual billing, expect $19 per month on Essentials, that is $229 for the year, $52 on Pro, that is $619, and $115 on Ultimate, that is $1,379, each time per user. Without commitment, the same plans go to $39, $79 and $169 per month. Team offers start at $6,000 per year.
Does RocketReach have a free plan?+
Yes. Five lookups, email only, no credit card. No export, no phone, no API. Useful to see the interface, not enough to validate a match rate on your market.
What is the difference between a lookup and an export?+
The lookup reveals the record inside the tool. The export sends the contact out to a CSV, a CRM or an integration. On monthly billing, the two counters are aligned and capped at 100, 250 or 1,000 per month depending on the plan. On annual billing, lookups become unlimited and exports carry the limit: 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 for the year. So the export is what stops a team syncing its CRM.
Are phone numbers included from the first plan?+
No. Essentials gives emails only. Mobiles and direct dials start with the Pro plan. If your process includes calling, the real entry price is not $19 per month, it is $52 on annual or $79 monthly.
What is the real cost of a RocketReach contact?+
On annual billing, about $0.19 per export on Essentials, $0.17 on Pro and $0.07 on Ultimate, provided you empty the year's cap. On monthly billing, expect $0.39, $0.32 and $0.17. A complete contact, email and phone, simply does not exist on Essentials.
Do unused lookups roll over?+
RocketReach publishes no rollover rule. On monthly billing, you get a cap every month. On annual billing, lookups are unlimited and a pool of exports runs across the year. One rule is written in black and white: a lookup that finds neither a verified email nor a verified phone number is credited back.
Is RocketReach cheaper than Apollo or Lusha?+
The annual entry level, at $19 per month, is lower than an Apollo Basic around $49 per seat. At equal scope, email, phone, volume and seats, Apollo is often more competitive because it includes sequences. Lusha bills a number at 10 credits, RocketReach puts it behind the Pro plan. None of the three includes warmup, LinkedIn automation and Sales Navigator scraping, which Emelia offers from €37 per month.
What is the best cheaper alternative to RocketReach?+
If you want the data and the sending in the same tool: Emelia, from €37 per month, with credits charged only on emails found. If you only want domain emails: Hunter. If you want a database and sequences, in English and per seat: Apollo. If you mainly want numbers from LinkedIn, in Europe: Kaspr.
