RocketReach and Emelia in 30 seconds
- Emails
- 1,000 emails a month cost $209 at RocketReach (Ultimate, its largest monthly plan, up to 1,000 lookups) and $19 at Emelia, in the smallest pack.
- Team
- RocketReach sells a licence per person and does not pool lookups: 4 people who each need 250 emails pay 4 Pro licences, $452 in all. One Emelia pack serves the whole team: 1,000 emails, $19.
- Credits and sending
- For unused lookups, RocketReach’s help centre speaks of 12 months of carry-over while subscribed, its agreement of expiry at the end of the term, and everything is lost once you cancel; Emelia’s credits stay valid 12 months, even after you cancel. RocketReach sends from one Gmail or Outlook mailbox per user, to contacts found in RocketReach only; Emelia’s Start ($37 a month) sends from 3 mailboxes to any list.
Is RocketReach free? The free account and what it reveals
Yes, in part: anyone can open a free account without a card, search the whole database and reveal a few contacts. How many is less clear, because RocketReach gives several versions: “5 free lookups” on its pricing page, “up to 5 free lookups per month” on a comparison page, “three sets of Lookup Credits in total” of varying size in one help article, and “3 months of free trial access” in another.
The free account reveals emails only: “If you are using a free trial, you will not be able to see phone numbers.” It can send 5 emails a day from a connected mailbox, use the MCP server, and comes with 10 RocketReach Verify credits, once. The paid plans themselves have no free trial period in RocketReach’s plan data.
Emelia gives 7 days of free trial without a card and 20 credits when you sign up with a work email. After that, emails and phone numbers are paid from its credits subscription, $19 excl. VAT a month for 1,000 credits, with no sending plan needed.
RocketReach API pricing: included in every paid plan, with limits per plan
There is no separate API price for the self-serve plans: “For smaller data needs, users can access our API with any of the plans on our pricing page.” A lookup through the API uses the same allowance as one in the app, and on a yearly plan it counts as an export. Searches through the API are free.
What changes from plan to plan is how fast you can pull, within the plan’s own lookups or exports. The API caps person lookups at 5,000 a month on Essentials, 20,000 on Pro and 50,000 on Ultimate, with per-minute, hourly and daily ceilings below that (documentation of September 14, 2026). For more, RocketReach sells custom API packages that “start at $6,000” a year, priced in “Universal Credits” (2 for a work email, 3 for a personal one, 6 for a number) whose unit price is not published.
Emelia’s API comes with every plan as well, and its credits subscription pays for the emails and numbers you find through it, at the same 1 and 50 credits as in the app.
Monthly lookups or yearly exports: two ways to count
In US dollars, excluding taxes, for one user. Billed monthly, each plan gives a number of lookups (contacts revealed) and as many exports. Billed yearly, the price is paid upfront, lookups in the app and the extension become unlimited, and only exports are counted: anything that leaves RocketReach (CSV, CRM, API, MCP, Autopilot, Upload List).

The toggle says “Save 50%”. Worked out from the prices, the yearly saving is 52% on Essentials, 37% on Pro and 32% on Ultimate. “Unlimited” has a fair-use ceiling of 10,000 lookups and 10,000 searches per rolling 30 days. Yearly exports arrive all at once and “do not roll over to the next year”; divided out, an export costs $0.333 on Essentials, $0.250 on Pro and $0.085 on Ultimate. Monthly plans have a contradiction of their own: the pricing page counts exports, a help article speaks of “Unlimited Exports”.

What Pro and Ultimate add: phone numbers, CRM sync, intent data
Pro, the first plan with phone numbers
Its billing name says it: “Pro + Phone”. Each lookup can then return phone numbers as well as emails, for the same single credit. Pro also opens the native integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Bullhorn), the technologies, news and org charts of companies, shared team tags, and 10 recurring Autopilots instead of 5.
Ultimate, for volume and administration
4 times the lookups of Pro, buying-intent data, US healthcare (NPI) data, Salesforce custom mapping, single sign-on (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and OneLogin or custom SAML), advanced team management and suppression lists, 25 recurring Autopilots, and the highest API limits of the self-serve plans.
Paying per lookup or per credit: 1,000 emails, or 20 to 1,000 numbers
The same need on both sides, for one person, paid monthly: RocketReach’s cheapest monthly plan that covers it, against Emelia’s credits subscription on its own, without any sending plan.

RocketReach bills in US dollars only; Emelia’s prices follow your currency, so a winner is shown only where it holds at any exchange rate. Units are not the same for numbers: a RocketReach lookup is charged once a verified email or number is found and does not promise the number, whereas Emelia charges only for a number found (its waterfall refunds the credits otherwise). The rows count every lookup as returning a number, the most favourable case for RocketReach. 1,000 numbers a month go the other way on paper: one lookup carries the number at no extra charge, while Emelia spends 50 credits on each number it finds. No winner is ticked on that row: RocketReach charges a lookup that returns only an email just the same, and sells no monthly plan above 1,000 lookups, so 1,000 numbers a month cannot be bought for certain. At 1,000 emails, a lookup on Ultimate comes to $0.209 and an Emelia credit to $0.019; unused Emelia credits stay valid 12 months.
Calculator: your emails and numbers, priced both ways
Set the emails and phone numbers you need each month and the number of people. RocketReach takes the cheapest monthly plan whose lookups cover each person’s share; Emelia, the smallest monthly credit pack.
You save $190 per month with Emelia ($2,280 per year).
How each tool charges
RocketReach bills per user: each licence has its own lookups (100 on Essentials, 250 on Pro and 1,000 on Ultimate), never shared with the team, and from two licences each costs 5% less ($66 on Essentials, $113 on Pro and $199 on Ultimate). One lookup reveals a contact’s emails and, on Pro and Ultimate, numbers.
Emelia does not bill per user, and its credits need no sending plan: all that counts is the monthly pack that covers your volume, from $19 for 1,000 credits, valid for 12 months. An email found costs 1 credit, a phone number 50, and nothing is charged when nothing is found. Packs are monthly only, so the yearly view uses the same price.
The need is split evenly between the people, every phone number is assumed to come from a contact you look up for its email, and each lookup is assumed to return the number when you ask for one (RocketReach does not guarantee it). Monthly prices only: yearly plans count exports, not lookups. Above 1,000 lookups a month per licence or 25 licences, RocketReach only sells custom plans.
Teams: a seat per person, credits that are not pooled
Each RocketReach subscription is “a single login for a single user”. A team buys one licence per person, from 2 to 25, 5% cheaper each than an individual plan and at the same price whatever the number of seats. The lookups stay personal: “Each user on the team is allocated their own balance of credits. Credits are not pooled.” Sharing one pot is reserved for custom plans.
4 people who each need 250 emails a month therefore pay 4 Pro licences, $452 a month in total. The 1,000 emails come from a single 1,000-credit pack at Emelia, $19, used by anyone on the team.
One help article (updated March 4, 2026) contradicts the plan data: it says team subscriptions are “always billed annually”, for 2 to 5 users, while the pricing endpoint lists monthly team plans up to 25 seats.

Three price grids for the same plans
The prices on this page are those of RocketReach’s pricing data as served in the United States, read in the Wayback Machine copy of October 13, 2026: rocketreach.co sits behind a security check that we did not try to bypass. RocketReach itself writes that “pricing may vary by region”, and its pricing endpoint takes a country.
Other sites have published other figures for the same three plans: $39, $79 and $169 a month (Overloop, September 28, 2026) and $49, $99 and $209 a month (CleanList, October 1, 2026). ZoomInfo’s own comparison page says RocketReach “sells per-seat plans from $25/mo”.
The grid also moved over the past year. Between August 2, 2025 and August 6, 2025, monthly prices fell from $99, $165 and $300 to today’s $69, $119 and $209; Ultimate went from 500 to 1,000 lookups a month and from 10,000 to 20,000 exports a year, and its yearly price dropped from $2,099 to $1,699 in March 2026.
Roll-over, refunds and other pricing questions
On monthly plans, the help centre says unused lookups carry over for up to 12 months while you keep a paid subscription; the subscription agreement says lookups “expire at the end of the applicable Subscription Term”. Yearly export credits do not roll over. When you cancel, the remaining credits are lost at the end of the paid period and are not given back if you subscribe again. Emelia’s credits stay valid 12 months after purchase, cancelled or not.
Its subscription agreement rules out refunds “of any kind”, and the help centre adds that “Prorated refunds are not provided”. The one exception: moving from a yearly to a monthly plan within 7 days of the first purchase, which refunds the difference (not for renewals or teams).
The help centre says no (“Credits cannot be purchased separately à la carte except for Custom/API plans”): you move to a bigger plan or to yearly billing. The subscription agreement, for its part, mentions “the option of purchasing additional Lookups”.
Verify, for checking addresses found elsewhere, uses its own credits: sold from 1,000 credits, cheaper per credit in larger quantities, they never expire, and an “Unknown” result costs nothing. We could not read its price: the purchase page sits behind RocketReach’s security check. Emelia’s verifier costs 0.25 credit an address, from the same credits as the email finder.
