Pipecorn, formerly ProntoHQ: waterfall enrichment, mobiles first

Pipecorn looks for a prospect’s verified work email and mobile number across a chain of data providers, and charges only for what it finds: 3 credits an email, 30 a mobile. Built in Paris for teams that call, it sends nothing on its own, and it has carried this name since June 2026.

What happened to ProntoHQ: the rename to Pipecorn

ProntoHQ did not disappear: Pronto, as the product on prontohq.com was called, renamed itself Pipecorn in June 2026. Its changelog lists the switch everywhere at once, in the app, the Chrome extension, the MCP server and the team’s email domain, and the old prontohq.com homepage and pricing page already forward to pipecorn.com.

The company is unchanged too: Pronto SAS, registered in Paris on January 22, 2025, run by Mathieu Brun-Picard (CEO) and Nicolas Fernandez-Le Follic (CMO). Its About page describes a team of 6, a place in Station F’s Future 40 programme and $1 million in annual recurring revenue without outside funding; its homepage adds more than 1,000 customer teams. Those are its own figures.

What did change is the product. In 2024, the Pronto website sold an “AI sales employee” called Julia that found leads and wrote to them. By April 2025, it had become a Sales Navigator scraper with an email and phone waterfall, at 1 credit per email. The rename came with Pipecorn’s own people and company database, the default search since July 2026.

For former Pronto customers, the price list moved as well. From October 2025 to May 2026, Build cost €69 a month for 900 credits; it now starts at $49 for 3,000. Grow went from €169 to $149, Scale from €469 to $699, each with more credits than before.

Mobile numbers first: 30 credits each, country routing, WhatsApp check

Pipecorn’s homepage sells “leads who actually pick up”, and the product follows that line: the mobile number is the main thing it hunts for, at 10 times the credits of an email.

Mobiles only

The waterfall keeps mobile numbers and skips landlines. Before billing one, Pipecorn says it checks that the line is active and whose name it is in.

30 credits, only when found

A mobile costs 30 credits, an email and a mobile for the same person 33. A wrong number or an empty search costs nothing, and a contact your workspace already enriched in the last 3 months is free.

Routing by country

The provider order depends on the lead’s country and role, and you choose which countries’ numbers you want back. Coverage is claimed for “50+” countries.

WhatsApp check

A found number can be checked for a WhatsApp account. It is billed in credits, but Pipecorn does not publish how many.

Straight to the dialer

Numbers can go to Allo, Nooks, Minari and OnOff Business, since Pipecorn has no dialer of its own.

How the waterfall works: billed only on results

A waterfall asks one data provider, then the next, until one returns a result that passes verification. Pipecorn puts first the provider with the best find rate for the lead’s country and role, and stops at the first verified hit, in about 2.4 seconds by its own count.

Which providers?

The site claims “100+” sources; the API documentation says “20+”. The longest list it has published names 24, including Dropcontact, Findymail, Wiza, RocketReach and several tools that also sell their data directly: Apollo, Lusha, Kaspr, Hunter and Icypeas.

What you pay for

Only data that is found and verified: 3 credits for an email checked by 3 separate verifiers by its own account, catch-all domains included, 30 for a mobile. Bounced emails and wrong numbers are not charged. Searching, filtering and previewing a segment are free; pulling profiles out of the database or out of Sales Navigator costs no credits but counts against your plan’s monthly export cap.

The find rates are Pipecorn’s own

Its benchmark of July 21, 2026, labelled an “independent study”, counts records in Pipecorn’s own index and uses estimates still “pending verification” for ZoomInfo and Cognism. A test run by a customer, Hyperline, credits it with 83% phone coverage, on a sample its comparison pages put at 290 contacts in their text and 170 in the LinkedIn post they quote.

Pipecorn pricing: four plans and a credit slider

Each paid plan has a menu of monthly credit volumes; the price is the same figure in dollars and euros, with no word on VAT. Credits are pooled across the workspace and users are free on paid plans, so the bill depends on volume, not headcount.

Emelia is cheaper for emails, Pipecorn from 300 to 600 mobiles a month

Both tools find contact data for a list you already have and only charge for what they find, so the comparison is need for need, monthly. Pipecorn: the cheapest step whose credits cover the need. Emelia: the smallest monthly credit pack that covers it, at 1 credit per email and 50 per phone number; Emelia sells its credits on their own, so no plan is added. On the mobile rows, the figure in brackets is Pipecorn billed yearly; Emelia’s packs only come monthly, so its price stays the same.

Emelia costs less on every email row: $19 against $49 for 1,000 emails a month, $299 against $2,149 for 50,000. On mobiles, the two cost the same at 100 and 200, Pipecorn is cheaper at 300 and 600, Emelia at 900, 1,000 and 2,000. Where Emelia takes over, at 900 a month, it costs $100 less. With Pipecorn billed yearly, Emelia’s packs keep their monthly price, as they are not sold by the year: Pipecorn also wins at 100 and 200 mobiles, and the gap at 900 shrinks to $33.50. Above 2,000 mobiles a month, only Pipecorn publishes prices, up to 18,000. Pipecorn top-ups, at prices it does not publish, are left out.

How each tool charges

Pipecorn sells a monthly credit volume per workspace, with no charge per user: 3 credits per email found, 30 per mobile. Steps run from Free (150 credits, free) to 540,000 credits on Scale; yearly billing charges 10 months out of 12. When your volume falls between two steps, the unused credits roll over to the next month.

Emelia does not bill per user, and its credits need no sending plan: all that counts is the monthly pack that covers your volume, from $19 for 1,000 credits, valid for 12 months. An email found costs 1 credit, a phone number 50, and nothing is charged when nothing is found. Packs are monthly only, so the yearly view uses the same price.

Excluding taxes. Pipecorn top-ups are not counted, as their price is not published.

Signals and job-change alerts

Next to the waterfall, Pipecorn watches for moments worth a call: someone changing job, a company hiring, a new hire arriving. These alerts start on Grow.

  • Job changes: Pipecorn follows a list of contacts and flags when one moves company, up to 1,000 tracked contacts on Grow and 10,000 on Scale; alerts can land in Slack.
  • New hires: 1 alert on Grow, 10 on Scale, for the people a target company has just hired.
  • Company signals: hiring, tech stack, followers and post engagement on Grow; lookalike companies already on Build. The changelog announced funding, growth and competitor signals in July 2026.
  • Credit cost: none published for the alerts themselves; revealing the email or mobile of a flagged contact is billed as usual.

Live or “very soon”?

Pipecorn’s own Signals page lists job changes as the only live signal and the rest as “Very soon”, while its pricing page sells them and the changelog reports them shipped between March 2026 and July 2026. Check with Pipecorn that the signal you need is live before paying for Grow.

Emelia’s plans list neither signals nor a contact database: a campaign starts from a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search, or from a file you import.

API, MCP server, CLI and the sequencers it feeds

Pipecorn is built to be called from other tools as much as used in its own app, and one credit balance covers the app, the API and the MCP server.

API and limits

A REST API with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, test keys and signed webhooks. Single-contact enrichment accepts 50 requests a second; lead search and Sales Navigator extraction, 1. Paid plans get a “low”, “medium” or “high” rate limit, with no figure attached. Emelia publishes its own: 100, 300 and 1,000 requests a minute on Start, Grow and Scale.

MCP and CLI

A hosted MCP server works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, connected by OAuth or an API key; the documentation announces 31 tools and lists 34. A command-line tool installs from npm or Homebrew. Clay gets a native column; Make, n8n, Zapier and Google Sheets connect as well.

Where the contacts go

Pipecorn sends nothing. Its comparison with Apollo says it outright: no email sequences, no dialer, it “feeds your sequencer through the CRM”. Contacts go to HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive (from Grow) or to lemlist, Smartlead, Instantly, La Growth Machine and HeyReach, which then need their own subscription. Emelia covers that second step itself: cold email from your mailboxes and LinkedIn automation, with the email or number found inside the same tool.

Pipecorn questions: the free plan, “unlimited leads”, certifications

150 credits pay for 50 emails or 5 mobile numbers a month, or a mix of both. The Free plan also exports 500 leads a month, for 1 user, with no card and no end date: Pipecorn insists it is a real plan, not a trial. There is no trial of the paid plans. Emelia works the other way round: a 7-day trial, then a paid subscription, which can be credits alone.

Unlimited exports of leads, on Scale only (from $699 a month). The other plans cap exports at 500, 5,000 and 25,000 leads a month, the API documentation adds a daily scraping cap without publishing it, and buying credits never lifts a cap. Emails and mobiles are always paid in credits. One page disagrees: the extension’s FAQ says reveals made there cost “no credits”, while the pricing page and the documentation describe a single credit balance.

SOC 2 Type II, with a trust portal at compliance.pipecorn.com and do-not-contact lists. Data is processed in the EU by default (Google Cloud in Belgium and Germany), although part of the supplier list it publishes is based in the United States.
