Woodpecker email campaigns, follow-ups and warm-up: what it sends for you
Woodpecker is cold email software for teams that prospect by email first. You connect your own Gmail, Outlook or other mailboxes, with no cap on how many, write a sequence, and it sends the first email and each follow-up on schedule until the prospect replies. Every Email tier has the same features; the tier sets how many emails you can send in a month, how many mailboxes warm up for free and how many Lead Finder credits come with it.
Sequences with conditions and A/B tests
Up to 16 steps mixing emails, LinkedIn actions and call tasks, with branches on opens, clicks, tasks, snippets or an accepted invitation, A/B tests of up to 5 versions and an AI writer.
Unlimited mailboxes, rotation and one inbox
Mailboxes and team members cost nothing extra. Campaigns rotate across several addresses, adapt the sending pace, and gather every reply in a shared inbox.
Verification by Bouncer before each send
Addresses are checked by Bouncer before a campaign reaches them, catch-all ones included, at no extra cost and with no monthly limit.
Domains, mailboxes and servers bought in the app
New domains from about $1 a month (billed yearly), Google or Microsoft mailboxes at $6 a month each, cheaper providers at $4, and dedicated sending servers at $59 a month.
Woodpecker reviews across G2, Capterra and Trustpilot, side by side
Figures collected in October 2026: G2 and Capterra as shown in their search listings, Trustpilot on its own page. The gap between the review platforms and Trustpilot is the first thing to notice.
In its favour
- Capterra: 91% of reviews are positive
- Mailboxes and team members never add to the bill
- A 14-day trial with no card, according to its pricing page
Points to check before paying
- Trustpilot: 60% of reviews give one star, 26% give five
- Refunds only within 3 days of a payment on an unused account, never on yearly plans (terms)
- Lead Finder credits do not carry over to the next month
Woodpecker.co integrations: HubSpot, Pipedrive and the API behind a $20 add-on
Woodpecker lists two-way sync with HubSpot and Pipedrive, a Salesforce connector, Clay, Calendly, Google Sheets, Zapier, Zoho and Slack, plus an API, webhooks, an MCP server and a command-line tool. None of them works on a bare plan: its help centre says each one needs the “API key & integrations” add-on, $20 a month for the whole account, $240 a year. Trial accounts can use it.
On Emelia, a CRM integration is part of every plan (one on Start and Grow, several at once on Scale), and so is the API, at 100 to 1,000 requests a minute depending on the plan.
Woodpecker AI sp. z o.o. and the 2026 change of contracting company
Woodpecker was founded in 2015 in Poland. The company behind it, Woodpecker.co S.A., has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since April 19, 2024, after a first listing on NewConnect. Its investor pages name Małgorzata Sikora as chief executive since June 3, 2024 and Maciej Cieśla as co-founder and technology lead; they report revenue of 18.771 million złoty for 2025.
The terms of service now name another contracting party: Woodpecker AI sp. z o.o., based in Wrocław. An archived copy of September 15, 2026 still named Woodpecker.co S.A.; the copy of October 15, 2026 names Woodpecker AI sp. z o.o., under the same “last updated” date. The site does not explain how the two companies are related.
Customer figures vary by page: “15,000+ professionals” in 101 countries on the About page, “13,000+” on the agency and warm-up pages, and 3,000+ business clients on the investor pages. The team counts more than 60 people.
LinkedIn visits, invitations and messages in Woodpecker, $29 an account
Woodpecker automates LinkedIn actions (profile visits, connection requests, direct messages and InMails) in any step of a sequence, or in a LinkedIn-only campaign. Each connected account costs $29 a month, with no yearly discount ($348 a year), up to 20 accounts. Actions run in the cloud on weekdays, from 8 am to 6 pm in the campaign’s time zone.
The account is connected inside the app with its LinkedIn email, password and a verification code, and the help centre asks you to switch off two-factor authentication while you connect it. Contacts can be pulled from the comments and reactions under a post (up to 20 posts per import); importing a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search is not documented.
At Emelia, 1, 3 or 10 LinkedIn accounts come with Start, Grow and Scale, and campaigns keep running on its servers with your computer off. The account connects through its Chrome extension (setup guide), which also sends a Sales Navigator search into Emelia with its “Export with Emelia” button: Sales Navigator searches export with no limit on the number of exports, from $37 excl. VAT a month (how it works).
3, 50 or 100 inboxes: Woodpecker tiers against Emelia plans
Each row starts from an Emelia plan and its mailboxes. Woodpecker gets the tier that covers what those mailboxes send in a month, at 30 to 50 emails each per working day over 22 days, follow-ups counted, plus $29 per LinkedIn account. Monthly billing.

When the monthly volume crosses a tier, the Woodpecker column shows two prices: at 30 and at 50 emails per mailbox a day. Woodpecker itself advises 25 to 35 a day and never more than 50. Emelia’s Scale covers unlimited mailboxes under a fair use of 1,000. More scenarios and a calculator: Woodpecker pricing.
Lead Finder: a contact database billed in monthly credits
Woodpecker’s Lead Finder searches a base of “over 1 billion” contacts by job title, country, industry, department, seniority or company. Viewing a lead costs 1 credit and finding its email 1.5; enriching a prospect you imported costs 1.5 credits, taken only when the enrichment works. Each tier gives 100 to 1,200 credits a month, packs start at 500 credits for $10, and unused credits are lost at the end of the month.
There is no contact database inside Emelia. Its email finder charges 1 credit per email found, verified, and nothing when no email turns up; credits stay valid for a year after purchase, even after you cancel. It also finds phone numbers across several providers in turn, which Lead Finder does not do.
Woodpecker billed by emails sent since October 22, 2026
Until mid-October 2026, Woodpecker charged by contacted prospects: 500 people a month for $35, however many follow-ups they received. Its new grid counts every email sent, follow-ups included, from 5,000 emails for $39 a month to 1,000,000 for $999. Older plans remain for some existing customers only, and parts of the help centre still describe them.
Tier-by-tier figures, the add-ons and a calculator against Emelia are on the Woodpecker pricing page.
Woodpecker FAQ
Woodpecker is used in the browser: the “Log in” link on woodpecker.co opens login.woodpecker.co, and new accounts start the trial from woodpecker.co/signup/. Its only Chrome extension, Woodpecker Scraper, copies lists from web pages and has nothing to do with LinkedIn.
Yes, for 14 days or 500 emails sent, whichever comes first, without a card, according to the pricing page (its pricing file and help centre say 100 emails). There is no free plan afterwards. Emelia offers 7 days without a card and 20 credits when you sign up with a work email.
Not from what it publishes: Lead Finder and enrichment return emails and profile data, and phone numbers only appear in call tasks, filled in by you. Emelia’s phone finder searches several providers in turn for 50 credits a number, and gives the credits back when none is found.
The closest ones are multichannel tools that bundle LinkedIn accounts (Emelia, lemlist, La Growth Machine, Reply.io) and senders billed by volume with warm-up included (Instantly, Smartlead, Saleshandy). Each one is priced on the Woodpecker alternatives page.
