The 8 best lemlist alternatives and competitors
Sorted by use case, Emelia first, each with its entry price, what it covers and how it bills.
- 1
Best for: Email and LinkedIn at a per-account pricelemlist adds LinkedIn only on its Multichannel plan, one seat per LinkedIn account at $109 a month. Emelia prices the whole account instead: Start covers 1 LinkedIn account and 3 mailboxes, Grow 3 accounts and 50 mailboxes, with warm-up, the email finder and the verifier in every plan. Phone numbers come from the same credits: 50 per number, found by waterfall enrichment across several providers and refunded when none is found, and Sales Navigator searches are exported with no limit on the number of exports from Start.
- NoBuilt-in B2B contact database
- YesCold email from your own mailboxes
- YesLinkedIn automation
- Price
- from $37/month
- Who it’s for
- Teams running email and LinkedIn from several accounts that want one bill instead of one seat per salesperson.
- 2
Best for: High-volume, email-only outreachInstantly is built for cold email: its outreach plans connect unlimited email accounts with warm-up included, and the price follows emails and contacts, not users. Its sequences have email steps only: no LinkedIn automation, and calls and SMS sit in a separate CRM subscription. Lead data is bought apart too, as credits, where lemlist’s Multichannel plan includes its own.
- NoLinkedIn automation
- YesCold email from your own mailboxes
- NoEmail and LinkedIn in one sequence
- Price
- $47/month (Growth plan · 5,000 emails a month · unlimited mailboxes)

- 3
Best for: Agencies and white labelSmartlead competes with lemlist’s Email plan rather than Multichannel: unlimited mailboxes, warm-up included and a price set by the emails you send each month. Agencies can add client spaces from its Pro plan to keep each customer apart. LinkedIn is left to partner tools, and its SmartProspect database is an option on the lower plans.

- NoEmail and LinkedIn in one sequence
- Price
- $39/month (Base plan · 6,000 emails a month · unlimited mailboxes)

Best for: First steps in LinkedIn automationWaalaxy is built for LinkedIn first: invitations and messages run in the cloud from ready-made campaign templates. - NoMailbox warm-up included
- YesCold email from your own mailboxes
- YesLinkedIn automation
- Price
- $69/month per licence (Business plan)
- Who it’s for
- Freelancers and small teams whose prospecting is mostly LinkedIn, with email as a second step.

Best for: French-made, LinkedIn-centred sequencesLa Growth Machine is the other French multichannel tool next to lemlist, built around LinkedIn and lead enrichment, with X steps on its top plan. It bills per identity (a sender, its LinkedIn account and its email addresses), so the bill grows per person, as with lemlist’s seats. It has a company database for building lists but no warm-up in its plans, where lemlist includes lemwarm.
- NoMailbox warm-up included
- YesCold email from your own mailboxes
- YesLinkedIn automation
- Price
- $70/month per identity (Basic plan)
- Who it’s for
- Sales teams that live on LinkedIn and want enrichment and multichannel sequences from a French publisher.

It sends no email itself; a sequence step hands leads to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison, a second subscription.
- NoCold email from your own mailboxes
- YesLinkedIn automation
- NoEmail and LinkedIn in one sequence
- Price
- from $79/month per LinkedIn account (Growth plan)
- Who it’s for

- YesEmail and LinkedIn in one sequence
- Price
- $99/month per user (Multichannel plan · 1 LinkedIn account)

- NoLinkedIn automation
- YesCold email from your own mailboxes
- NoEmail and LinkedIn in one sequence
- Price
- Free plan, then $65/month per licence (Basic plan · 2,500 credits)
- Who it’s for

Why look for a lemlist alternative?
lemlist is a good tool. Teams that leave it usually do so for one of these reasons:
See the full breakdown in our lemlist pricing guide.
- LinkedIn is billed per user. You need the Multichannel plan at $109 per user per month: $327 for 3 LinkedIn accounts.
- The cheapest plan is email only. At $69/month, the Email plan has no LinkedIn and no credits, and is capped at 50,000 emails per month.
- Add-ons pile up. Extra senders, WhatsApp, phone numbers and credits are all billed on top, and yearly discounts do not apply to them.
- No refunds. Unused fees are not refunded, even pro rata.
- More than you need. Calls, SMS, WhatsApp, intent signals: many teams pay for a platform when they only use email and LinkedIn.
How to choose the right alternative
Answer these four questions and the choice becomes obvious.
1. Which channels do you really use?
If 90% of your results come from email and LinkedIn, you do not need a platform with a dialer, SMS and WhatsApp. Pick a tool that does those two channels very well, at a fixed price.
2. How many people will prospect?
With per-user pricing, every new salesperson adds a full seat to the bill. If your team is growing, compare the price for 3 and 10 LinkedIn accounts, not just for one.
3. How much do you send?
For tens of thousands of emails per month, check the sending caps and the price of extra mailboxes: they often cost more than the plan itself.
4. Where do your leads come from?
If you already have lead sources (Sales Navigator, CSV files, CRM), you do not need to pay for a huge built-in database. If you start from zero, Emelia exports your Sales Navigator searches with no limit on the number of exports from Start, then finds the emails and phone numbers, paid only when found.

lemlist alternatives FAQ
Emelia, from $37/month: email and LinkedIn in the same sequence, unlimited sending, warm-up, and phone numbers found with credits (the call itself happens in your phone tool). The other tools each cover one part of lemlist: Instantly and Smartlead send email only, Waalaxy and HeyReach start from LinkedIn, and Reply.io adds calls and SMS, billed per user.
For email and LinkedIn together, Emelia starts at $37/month for 1 LinkedIn account (with 3 mailboxes), versus $109 at lemlist (one Multichannel seat).
Serious cold email and LinkedIn tools are paid, and lemlist offers a free trial rather than a free plan. Emelia gives 20 free credits at sign-up with a work email, to find emails and phone numbers, and a 7-day free trial without a card.
Emelia, Waalaxy and La Growth Machine are French companies, like lemlist.
Agencies usually look for per-account rather than per-user pricing and many mailboxes. Emelia is built for that: 50 mailboxes and 3 LinkedIn accounts on Grow, unlimited mailboxes and 10 accounts on Scale, with email and LinkedIn in the same sequence. Instantly and Smartlead do not bill per user either, but they send email only, and HeyReach automates LinkedIn only.
Yes. You can export your leads from lemlist as CSV and import them into the new tool. Sequences usually need to be rebuilt, which is also a good time to clean them up.
